Great show. The worst part is the wait to get in and seated. You have to go early and wait in line. Food and drinks were good!

"Luau on Maui"
May 2018
Overall it was a pleasant luau. The food was better than we expected from the reviews we had read. The presentation could’ve been a little bit longer. I think a lot of time was spent on just waiting around. We went for our two-year-old to experience Hawaiian culture as she loves musical productions and she seemed to enjoy it.

"Frustrated!"

So disappointed I did not get to go to this as the current pandemic is not allowing me to attend. More frustrating was that I spend 1,500.00 and can't seem to get a refund. I have spoken to several people via phone and keep getting put on hold then disconnected. Very sad, frustrating and disappointing.

"Amazing dancers!"

Absolutely wonderful show. I noticed the show was way more crowded on Friday than Saturday, so keep that in mind. We had Saturday tickets and we were very happy about that! There is a big line to get in but that is just how Maui is no rush. The dances were very intense and passionate! I felt inspired. The food and service were great! I would say this is all about the show~

The show was starting and we were still waiting to be seated. Also, it was done at 8:00pm so really a 2.5 hour show, not 3.. Expensive...

"Poor customer service"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5

Though my family and I very much enjoyed the show, the evening got off to a very bad start. I paid for VIP seating for a group of 6 people. It was not VIP! They could not even manage to seat us together. I was stuck at one end of the table with 2 couples while the rest of my family was at the other end. Staff made no attempt to remedy it except to offer us seats at the far end which would have limited our view. I spent a premium for this show! The least they could do is ensure that groups are at the same table. I would recommend picking a different luau if you want any reasonable customer service!

"Great experience, and great venue compared to some Lu'au's"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5

I would recommend this Lu'au. First off it's held with a beach view, where some Lu'au's are held in more of an outdoor ballroom setting. For example the Lu'au at the Hilton Waikiki was literally a rooftop venue that was surrounded by four painted concrete walls. The staff was super friendly, and the food was good, exceptional for a buffet. As far as seating, we paid for the VIP seating, and I would probably do that again for the amenities, but the reality is there is not a bad seat in the house. I saw other reviews that said parking was a challenge, and I could see where that was possible although we had no problems getting our car back from the valet. That said the area is tight and congested so traffic flow can get boxed up if someone is not courteous and expeditions in dropping off and picking up. If fact we saw a driver that was so unaware of his surroundings and dis-courteous that when the staff tried to hurry him along, he acted like he wanted to fight/argue with the entire valet staff. I recommend valet parking, but bring your patience when retrieving your car. The show was very fun and kept everyone entertained. The performers certainly gave us a good showing of the Polynesian history and culture. The timing of the event also worked well, and the end time of 8:30 was very helpful for those who needed to travel back to the other side of the island. Remember you are by the ocean, and if the winds are up, you will appreciate a jacket or sweater when the sun goes down. I would recommend this event for any type of group.
