Great show. The worst part is the wait to get in and seated. You have to go early and wait in line. Food and drinks were good!

"Luau on Maui"
May 2018
Overall it was a pleasant luau. The food was better than we expected from the reviews we had read. The presentation could’ve been a little bit longer. I think a lot of time was spent on just waiting around. We went for our two-year-old to experience Hawaiian culture as she loves musical productions and she seemed to enjoy it.

"Amazing Luau experience!"

Our family attended this luau in early August after exploring several other options. It was an amazing experience and we were glad we went. Starting with the entrance, we were greeted with leis and mai tai's. It only got better from there. Shortly after we sat down, the open bar started (more mai tai's!!!) The music performance is there to welcome visitors at the seating fills up before dinner. The buffet dinner itself was plentiful. One of our kids suffers from several food allergies. We spoke to our server before dinner, and he was SUPER helpful. The Hyatt has a list of all food allergens so it is very clear what is safe to eat. Beyond that, the server went out of his way to speak to my son, and make sure that he was able to have a good food experience, even bringing him his own plate of steamed rice from the kitchen. We were grateful for the Hyatt's responsiveness. The show was amazing. A wonderful host involved the audience and kept things moving. The performance was great, particularly the when the dancers introduced fire to their act! Our teenage kids loved it, and the performance is appropriate for all ages. We will definitely return!

The food was great and the show was very entertaining. We have been to other luau's, but this by far was the best one we have been to. Highly recommend it!

We chose this lu’au because it looked like it was going to be fast moving, exciting and had the fire dancers. The dancing itself was great but was actually very slow moving. If I had never been to other lu’au’s I might not have known better. They had a total of 10 dancers. So we had to listen to the most boring voice in between set changes, for very long periods of time. He never could keep our interest in what he was even saying. When it came to the last dance, which was the fire dance ... what a let down. Basically they spun the batons, and only did 1 dance. Our server was slow at getting there. We had already got 2 rounds of drinks ourselves before he even came around. Then when the main show started they stopped serving altogether. Didn’t even come around for a last call. The food was mediocre and they really rushed you through. If you are one of the last tables to go through, they have already condensed down to 1 line. We barely got in on any dessert. Just came away disappointed. We all stayed excited for the kids cuz it was their first lu’au.

The food was great but the show wasn’t very good. The parts with drums were awesome but the slower parts of the show were very slow. Also the sales pitch fashion show was not a good touch for this type of occasion. Wouldn’t necessarily recommend. It was very expensive for what it was worth

"Best Luau Ever!"

I was on the edge of my seat during the fire dance, what an ending. Also, I learned so much about the culture and the dances and what the meaning was for different parts of the Islands. The dancing was fantastic and learning how to do the dance was a very fun time, then allowing us all to join in the dancing from where we were seated in the aiies or in front of the stage was AWESOME!
