Pros -Location great-walking distance to restaurants -No resort nor parking fees -Comfy beds, great AC, and cozy rooms Cons -No roaches (unlike Rosen International Dr North) -Cheap rose scent toiletries not suitable for anyone with skin allergies -No fitted sheets -Noise…people running down halls at all hours of night. Parking lot noise. -HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE WHEN THEY ARE CAUSE OF PROBLEM!! I loved Rosen because they are affordable and usually a good stay, until this one. I used trip advisor to book as it was only approx $70 a night + taxes. The reservation was confirmed at 1:33 pm, and sent to Rosen. I tried to check in and no reservations seen. She told me to contact 3rd party, which I did. They verified confirmation #, paid in full, and that it was sent to Rosen. Long story short…after 15 phone calls to reservations by me and trip advisor, and 3 and 1/2 hours later, Rosen can all of a sudden add it manually!! 3 and 1/2 HOURS SITTING IN MY RUNNING CAR IN FRONT OF LOBBY, which they knew as I let them know every time I called!! They could’ve done this sooner!!! Adrian and Elizabeth (Rosen reservations) confirmed to trip adv that there was a problem with Rosens system and it only updates every 2 hours with reservations!! Not even that in this case!! I’m going thru chemo. This was their problem. It should’ve been handled differently!! Oh…the option I was given by Rosen reservations was to cancel other res, which I could not do as no refund, and pay thru them…$165 for that night and $80 for next!!! I paid $170 for both!!! Are you kidding me?! DONT BOOK DIRECTLY WITH THEM! It’s a ripoff!! Check in at 5pm!! I share my story with person checking me in. He completely ignored me. I asked for manager, which he replied ‘it’s me’. Now I’m mad…I said ‘and after hearing this you couldn’t even apologize?! Simply say sorry??!! As a manager??!! Especially when it’s your fault?! He wouldn’t give me a card for a different mgr, so I emailed once I got to room. Twice. STILL NO RESPONSE!! THEY WONT GIVE ME CONTACT INFO FOR A REAL MANAGER AS I WANT THIS ACKNOWLEDGED!! Customer svc is important to me, as I worked in it for almost 20 yrs!! Especially in hospitality!!! This place doesn’t practice this. This so called mgr (heavy set African American with lil braid things) at front desk needs training!! ***DO NOT BOOK DIRECTLY THRU THEM!! Use other booking sites!! Much cheaper! Hope there’s not a problem and good luck!!

Great hotel for what I paid for it. And buffet breakfast was included. Great location on international drive. Convenience store has all you need for a quick purchase, close to restaurants, the convention center and the theme parks. Would definitely come back

If you're looking for a quiet place to work, write, or relax, this is not the hotel for you. There's loud music playing 24/7 by the pool, and the overall noise level is high due to its location between International Drive and Route 4. Expect constant traffic sounds—cars, trucks, and motorcycles—at all hours. Additionally, a helicopter tour business next door means there’s a helicopter flying overhead regularly. Building C and Pool 2 are currently closed for construction, and Building B sits uncomfortably close to Route 4, adding to the noise issues. I had to purchase extra quiet earplugs. Wi-Fi is spotty, leading to dropped calls and inconsistent internet. That said, if you’re looking for a relatively affordable, clean place with on-site food options, this could work. They still provide daily room cleaning, which is a plus. Security was also a highlight—I felt safe during my stay. Dining at the Zebra Lounge was disappointing—overcooked, tasteless chicken both times. The bathroom design in my room was awkward, with the door barely able to clear the elongated toilet (did no one measure this?). Also, beware of the timeshare salespeople lurking in the lobby—they can be quite persistent. Overall, if affordability and convenience matter more to you than peace and quiet, this hotel might be a fit. But if you need a relaxing or productive environment, you may want to look elsewhere.

Our stay was one night, for which we were very thankful. The bed was very comfortable. This hotel has double beds only. No queen or king beds. This hotel is outdated and in disrepair. Our room reeked of stale cigarette smoke. Every piece of clothing that we had with us had to be thrown in the wash when we got home because of the smell in the room. Water pressure was awful. When we arrived, the employee at the front desk asked what floor we wanted to be on. We told her we wanted ground floor. When she issued us our key cards, she told us the room was on the ground floor. We spent a half an hour searching for the room, and finally gave up and returned to the front desk. The front desk asked what room number we were assigned, and when I told her, she said that room is on the 10th floor! I explained that the employee who gave us our key cards told us it was a ground floor room. She said that employee was new and didn’t know. Each time we entered our room, it took, on average, 25-30 attempts before the door would unlock. We saw others who had the same problem unlocking their door. When I mentioned to customer service that the room reeked of old cigarette smoke, they didn’t care. This place needs so much work, it needs to be leveled.

"Excellent location and hotel had everything we needed."

Stayed in the Rosen Inn Pointe with my husband and 2 children. Was a bit apprehensive about the hotel as I had read mixed reviews, but had absolutely nothing to worry about. We were allocated a room in Block A on top floor, pool view. The room was cleaned daily and although a little dark and dated, it had everything that we needed during our stay. The complimentary Shuttle bus to Universal went 3 times a day and we always go a place on the bus at our chosen time. We didn’t eat in the hotel as there were so many great choices on our doorstep. Overall, the hotel exceeded my expectations, especially for the price we paid, there was no hidden costs or resort fees. The location was fantastic and was across from the point and 10 min walk to Icon park. I would return again in the future.
