Parking: Self-parking is available at 20 E Randolph St. Chicago, IL 60601. Charges apply and reservations are required.
Pet Policy: Max 1 dog per room per stay, up to 25 lbs. Dog must be registered with the front desk at the time of check-in. Dog should be on a leash or in a carrier in public areas and not in the restaurant or fitness room. You must be present when the hotel staff is in your guest room with your dog. Your dog should not be left in your guest room unattended. Please make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations, with proof upon request.

"One of the worst hotels I have stayed at in Chicago thus far"

Booked at River Hotel - ended up at Club Quarters some how? Same building but segregated rooms, elevators, and amenities. Club Quarters has at least 35 floors between 2 elevators and does not have ice or vending machines. River Hotel has 2 elevators, ice and vending machines, and only 7 floors. Was told by staff I could switch “hotels” but they did not have a king bed available, only queens. I would be paying the same price regardless. Sounds like you gave someone else the room I booked. BEWARE IF YOU BOOK A KING ROOM YOU WILL GET 2 TWIN BEDS PUSHED TOGETHER. THERE ARE 2 SEPARATE ROOMS BEHIND ONE DOOR, VERY DECEIVING. you are very close to your neighbor - you will hear whenever they enter and leave. Rooms and bathrooms are very small and outdated. Corners of all the walls and windows are chipping. A/C is supposedly controllable but fluctuated constantly despite setting it to a specific temperature - at one point this very tiny room reached 75 degrees even when I had it set at 50 the whole time. VALET IS $76 A NIGHT - NOT $53 AS STATED ON HOPPER. Staff is reasonably friendly although cleaning staff is loud in the mornings, playing music in hallways in the morning, and will enter your room without knocking before checkout. Only thing outstanding is location and price of room.

The staff was great, the room was nice shower was very small and room had no heat but other than that it was a great experience. This is also a great location for a hotel.

Location is perfect, close to everything, shops, the river. It is in the heart of downtown Chicago. Love that we are able to bring our fur baby, that was a great bonus. Room is not too big but it was just perfect for me, my husband and our 10 lb dog. Bed is very comfortable. Also love that the pillows are queen size and so comfortable as well. Will definitely come back if we are in the area. Highly recommend this place

Excellent stay at the Hôtel River Chicago. The location is perfect, right in the heart of the city and close to everything. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, professional, and always helpful. Great value for the price. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again.
