Pet Policy: Max 1 dog per room per stay, up to 25 lbs. Dog must be registered with the front desk at the time of check-in. Dog should be on a leash or in a carrier in public areas and not in the restaurant or fitness room. You must be present when the hotel staff is in your guest room with your dog. Your dog should not be left in your guest room unattended. Please make sure your dog is up to date on all vaccinations, with proof upon request.

"Cozy and great location"

The staff was super nice and welcoming. Great location. Room was pretty small but perfect for what we needed which was really a place to sleep!

"They dont use heating or cooling?!"

April 4th. Cant use heat or cooling in room. Or fan. They shut those off this time of year manager says. 74 in room and 55 outside. Roasting. Stay in this city 100 times and many others and never been told you cant be climate controlled! As a 30 yr hvac specialist this is obsurd! $200 a night! Storage units are Climate controlled! For the same money you can stay at better hotels. Highly recommend doing that. Garbage establishment. But they brought us a floor fan! For $200 a night...lesson learned. Change the name to the shock instead for the river.

Perfect location to explore downtown chicago..room little small ..but staff at the hotel super nice and always trying to help...really enjoyed..
