This Smoky Mountains area hotel is located on River Road, less than half a mile to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Cade's Cove is approximately two miles away and Ober Gatlinburg is within walking distance (0.1 mile). With a convenient location, the hotel is within easy walking distance to Gatlinburg Convention Center, Ober Gatlinburg Aerial Tramway, fabulous restaurants, Sky Lift Park and Ripley's Aquarium.

We are currently staying here for a week. We booked a 2 bedroom unit. Price was great. The place is fine. Not outstanding, but also adequate to stay a week. Hotel itself is dated and needs some maintenance, room is clean, has a small set of pots and cooking stuff. Its located up the hill from main street, central enough for our 17 year old kids to walk into town to get to everything. There are also free shuttles that run in gatlinburg, so that makes it easier. Inside pool on the colder side, but there's an outside pools and hot tub as well. Kids are liking the basketball court and ping pong. Did laundry today and machines were free, and clean looking area. The resort is clean, feel safe walking at night, and its prob a 7 out of 10 for a non picky traveler. Bed is comfortable, and bedding is crisp. Check in was easy and everyone that weve dealt with at resort has been nice.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice room with plenty of room and a small balcony. Continental breakfast was nice. The downtown area is very close and walkable. It was great that we were able to leave our car at the Inn until we left. Will definitely look to return.

The gentleman at the desk was very friendly and pleasant when we checked in. Gave us information on the grab 'n go breakfast, parking, housekeeping, etc. Our room apparently has been remodeled and looked nice. We had linoleum for flooring which was good. The beds were pretty comfortable. Housekeeping would come by daily if you left the card on the doorknob stating what you needed. The small Keurig coffee pot was not in working order. Close enough that we would walk to the strip. Would probably stay here again.

We felt like Rivers Edge was good quality for the value. Our room was exactly as it was pictured online (2 queens). The room was clean, the bed had crisp white linens, and there were plenty of fresh clean towels. The mattresses were a bit too soft for us, but after hiking all day, we were so tired that sleep came easily. Ice cold AC was great considering it was close to 100° a couple days. Not too much sound from other neighbors was noticed in our 3rd floor room. It was nice to have the ice machine and the elevator close to our room. The hotel is located off the main strip of Gatlinburg businesses, at the least busy end of town. Perfect for us, because we could still walk to restaurants easily. There was plenty of onsite free parking. The daily grab-n-go breakfast items and coffee was nice, too. There was plenty of selection every morning while we were there. We would definitely choose Rivers Edge again!
