"Blu Shutter View"

Overall, we had a good stay at Radisson Blu Downtown Toronto. The hotel is a little dated, and the bathroom layout was a bit unusual, but it worked well enough for our stay. We didn’t use the tub and just used the shower, but if you’re someone who enjoys a proper bath, that setup might be a drawback. We stayed in a corner room overlooking the bay harbor, and that was definitely the best part. The sunrise view in the morning was beautiful and made waking up there feel extra special. The room had shutter-style windows that seemed intended to let in more light and maximize the view, but in reality, the shutters opened onto the other windows and ended up blocking part of it — not the best design choice. Still, the bed and pillows were very comfortable, which made for a restful stay. A few helpful things for future travelers: parking is available, but it is paid parking only. It’s also open to the public, so that’s worth knowing if you’re driving in. Breakfast was included, which was nice, but it looked fairly limited and the restaurant space itself felt a bit like an afterthought — tucked away in a small corner area rather than feeling like a proper dining space. The hotel has only 8 floors, a tiny gift shop that wasn’t always open during our stay, and overall feels more modest than some may expect from the name. That said, the location is very convenient. There’s a breakfast place right across the road, plus shops and a pharmacy just around the corner, which made it easy to grab anything we needed. Not a luxury stay, but comfortable, convenient, and worth it for the harbor view and location.

Pros: - Fantastic location - walking distance to sports centres, CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, etc. - Friendly & helpful staff - Amazing restaurant (Queen's Harbour) right across the street - Clean lobby & rooms - Water refill stations located on each floor - Free wifi Cons: - The only real con was in regard to our room (426) - The curtains don't slide properly, the bathroom lock/handle gets stuck, the TV was glitchy, the pillows were very flat, the bed on the left was very squeaky, and there is a decent amount of wear on tear on the walls, etc. The pros outweigh the cons though, and we would stay again:)

"Great stay! Lovely hotel!"

My stay at the Radisson Blu Toronto Downtown was excellent from start to finish. The check-in process was very easy and efficient, which made arriving after travel very smooth. The staff were friendly and welcoming throughout the stay, always happy to help when needed. The room itself was large, very clean, and maintained to a very high housekeeping standard. It was clear that the hotel takes great care in keeping rooms spotless and comfortable for guests. The location is also a big advantage. It offers easy access to streetcars and is within walking distance of the city centre, making it very convenient for exploring Toronto. Overall, this is a very good hotel and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Toronto.

A really nice hotel, our room was lovely and well appointed, the staff were very helpful and the location is ideal, close to the covered walkways which is a blessing in February, lots of shops, restaurants, bars and tourist attractions all within a short walk. A great place to base yourself in downtown Toronto.

"Terrible service"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed February 15, 2026
We are currently staying at Radisson Blu Downtown Toronto. Although it has great location but lacks in service. Although while checking in we chose housekeeping services everyday, we had no housekeeping on our very first day. When we complained to the front desk, the person asked us if we were “sure we had no housekeeping done” and then proceeded to inform me that housekeeping was in between 8-9 in the morning. His entire demeanor was as if it was our fault we missed housekeeping, that we had placed DND sign and housekeeping didn’t clean our room. I tried to inform him that we only placed DND sign when we were in the room when we were showering and changing and then removed the sign as we left the room, I saw housekeeping in the hallway when I left but when we came back in the evening, the room was not cleaned and we had no towels etc. We travel a fair amount and thus is the first time I have stayed in a place where this has happened, we are terribly disappointed!!
