We needed a partial week rental in a condo format. The Prince is one of the only places in Cherry Grove that will offer this during peak season. The unit was well decorated and very clean. It looked to have been completely updated recently. This is a family resort and small children are everywhere. If you prefer adult only quiet, your best bet is the beach versus the pool. The lazy river was used as a playground for jumping and splashing... anything but lazy. We were ok with that since we knew ahead of time this is peak season for families. Once upon a time we were one of those young families ourselves. We did find the pool bar to be over crowded during the pandemic but we also overlooked that. What do you expect going to a beach resort?

very nice establishmentbut water pressure ran out while we were there and we were supposed to attend a wedding in which we were unable to make, and only half of a night was refunded and we were without water for 10 hours. Therefore we missed wedding we traveled 3 hours to attend due to no water for shower after returning from the ocean. If we would have appropriately been taken care of monetarily we would definitely come back but due to how much we paid to stay there and lack of care for the fact that we miss what we were there for I was personally very disappointed.

We stayed at the Prince for the past 5 days and departed today. The room was a very nice 2 bedroom ocean front unit that looked directly over the Cherry Grove Pier. At registration, I was given a strong mention of how well the rooms were cleaned and sanitized. There was a bottle of hand sanitizer at the registration desk and an elevator or maybe two had hand sanitizer but that was it. Hand sanitizer was not in the rooms or spread out available within the resort. Also, no mask wearing requirements were enforced. I looked for this and in no way was it mentioned or encouraged. When we entered the condo: 1-We could feel sand under our feet so we swept the living and kitchen area and had three piles of sand. 2-I then noticed the tv and remote for the master bedroom were not synced together. Oddly enough, there were instructions listed by the tv how to operate but they were for an entirely different setup and not for the tv and cable supplied in the condo. 3-I then noticed the safe in the room did not work. This was never fixed. 4- We later found the clothes washer in the Condo had stagnant water in it and would not start for us. We called and they sent up a repairmen who was very kind and solved the tv remote and washer problem. 5- we noticed no wash clothes were in the bathrooms. 6- I went to use the toaster oven in the kitchen and a pan with stuck food pieces and some type of oil coating was left and I had to thoroughly clean it. 7-There was a large puddle of water in the bedroom behind the dresser. I saw no water damage to the floor or walls so most likely from a previous guest and not wiped up by house keeping. Now, if all this was left unnoticed, I seriously doubt the rooms were sanitized if they can’t even sweep the floor and check all correctly between guests.

Would NOT recommend! Room was still not clean after we waited until well after the 4pm check in time. This was after being told the room had been inspected for cleanliness. Buckets of wet sand in room, horrible smell throughout. Wet and dirty cloths left in bathrooms. Received call on room phone stating we were late checking out, this was an error on their part as they called the wrong room. House keeping on hold due to Covid-19 (understandable) but was not provided with extra trash bags or anything. You are required to walk to main building and request at front desk.
