Set along Kaua'i's eastern coastline, Plantation Hale Suites in Kapa'a offers excellent value with spacious suites and great amenities such as three outdoor swimming pools, two whirlpool spas, BBQ grills picnic areas, and beach access.

Although there is no on-site restaurant available, the hotel is near Coconut Plantation Marketplace which offers shops and restaurants. It is also nearby Wailua Golf Course, just a short drive away.

Each spacious suite includes a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV, and a private terrace or balcony with a pool, mountain, or garden view. Cribs are available on request and rollaway beds are for a nominal fee.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel with our family on the beautiful island of Kauai. The location is fantastic—just a few steps from the water. I truly enjoyed watching the sunrises during our stay, which made every morning special. Everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay was provided. The room was spacious and well equipped with a microwave, oven, and pans, and there was even an outdoor barbecue area available. The parking was great just in front of every building there is parking. It made resting and spending time together as a family very easy and enjoyable. My family and I rated our stay a perfect 10/10. We loved it and are already planning to come back next year and stay at the same hotel again.

Great check-in system with out requiring to interact with front counter staff. Clean, quiet, and welcoming. Multiple pools and hot tubs in complex. A few steps away from ocean. Next to luxury complexes adds a great vibe. Great food and tourism options in the market next door. 10/10. Highest recommendation.

The location was perfect and the room was spacious. I was unaware of the no front desk/keyless check-in but it worked fine. The only surprise was there was no housekeeping and we were expected to launder our own towels. After calling customer service I learned I could trade towels in at their office nearby during business hours. This was helpful. The living room was spacious but simple and clean. We didn't really use the kitchen, but it was nice to have options. Water was very hot. The AC was only in the bedroom so the kitchen/living room area was warmer but manageable. Overall it was a fine experience and the location couldn't be beat.

Have stayed at Plantation Hale many times in the past 10 years. Great location nice units with adequately supplied kitchens to prepare your own meals. There have been many changes for the worst. We booked this time through our airline and it was represented as a resort hotel. We were required to pay a $35.39 Resort fee per night at property, that we were told about when booking. Although the fee was higher than usual, it was always required. Now the fee seems to get you nothing. In room safe , which is there but useless there is no key and no onsite place to pickup. Laundry facility but they are pay machines. No house keeping service unless you pay $75 per service. No cleaning supplies to do it yourself. No towel exchange, you are to wash your own in the pay laundry facilities. Very disappointing hope things are reevaluated.
