Very nice staff and enjoyable experience. A front desk employee by the name of Ronnie was extremely friendly, always had a smile on his face, and easy to talk with. Made the experience very welcoming. I'm grateful this hotel holds employees at such a high level, because he was a perfect example for one.

"“Beautiful View but Disappointing Maintenance and Service”"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5
Reviewed March 11, 2026 NEW
The view from this hotel is beautiful and the location is nice, but unfortunately the property itself feels old and in need of repair. In our room, the toilet flush was leaking constantly and making noise, which was very bothersome, especially at night. We informed the front desk twice and spoke to two different staff members. They told us someone would come to fix it, but during the next three nights the problem remained the same and no one explained the situation to us. Housekeeping also seemed inconsistent. On the first day, room service came in but only made one of the beds and did not clean or refresh the rest of the room. Additionally, the windows appear to need replacement. When it was windy outside, they made a lot of noise, which made the room uncomfortable. Overall, the hotel has great views and potential, but it really needs maintenance and better attention to guest concerns.

"Pro: Ronnie CON: buffet price"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

What better location than over looking Gatlinburg with choice of rooms from looking at mtns and trees feeling peaceful to the city lights of hustle and bustle. I really enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Very friendly staff starting with Ronnie. That nice smile of his and bubbly personality. If he's ever had a bad day at work I've never seen it. That's good because I've never felt his issues put on me or anyone that was at the front. In fact, I've never heard anyone upset (guests) maybe that's a sign we just don't see alot because the guests are that happy. Matthew was up front and checked me in, he was so nice, recalled me, made me feel like family. Edmond works in the restaurant and was so very kind. Even though I complained that the buffet price for breakfast was ridiculous he stood by Hilton with honor and didn't bash but made other recommendations off the menu to eat there for less. That was greatly appreciated because not everyone wants to go downtown Gatlinburg find parking and fight the crowd to eat. Crystal is accidentally met because she's in sales but was very nice and made me aware of many things the hotel can do from education seminars, sport gatherings like cheer camps, to weddings. To much for me to write, call and ask for Crystal in sales. Loved my trip, can't wait to go back. Highly recommend. Con: breakfast buffet price. :-( Last day I decided to pay the buffet, it was i think $107 w/o tip. Most disappointing thing was to watch my family eat minimal food. I myself have a stomach issue and can't eat but like a kids portion or stay for long long periods and slowly eat. So it was a total waste of money. I noticed as well the restaurant was completely empty when I came to eat b/c it's just not affordable. Sad to see it empty as where it use to bustle with people and food was being replaced because of crowd. Maybe give your guest (key holders) the old price $17 and those not staying there the $23 price. Hope you'll change it before my next visit. But do have to say the food is always delicious, fresh, and very good.

"Adequate stay...could use some updating."
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

The location is incredible! Great views all around. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is starting to show it age and could use some updating, however, this is not a game changer...yet. Parking? Parking is HORRIBLE!!! There is never enough parking. Sometimes, you have to park along the small, winding road that leads into the actual parking lot. Not safe at all. This could be a game changer! The food is adequate, nothing special and a bit on the expensive side. I don't mind paying for good food but again, nothing special here.
