from Miracle of Christmas
After decades of crushing Roman rule, the Hebrew people are losing hope. When will the promised Messiah come? Into the midst of this turmoil, young Mary is told she will bear God’s Son.
Angels in heaven proclaim His birth; humble shepherds and regal kings pay Him homage. Clearly this is no ordinary baby! But who is He – really? Is He the Messiah, our Savior? Who can even believe such a thing!
Witness the event that is central to the season, brought to life on a panoramic stage with high drama, spectacular special effects and live animals – on stage and in the aisles.

Though it’s familiar to many, experiencing the events of Jesus’ birth always brings a new opportunity to consider such a profound plot — that God sent his only Son to live among us, ultimately providing forgiveness and the ability to receive a new life with Him for those who believe. A grand story with an uplifting message, it all began in the most unusual way: with a young girl named Mary, a perilous journey and a stable in the crowded little town of Bethlehem.

With enormous sets, elaborate costumes, immersive lighting and sound design, Miracle of Christmas is a jubilant re-creation of the Bible’s most celebrated story. Journey into the fields where the awestruck shepherds are met by a host of angels proclaiming the good news of the Messiah’s birth. Witness the wonder of the wise men as they bring gifts to the newborn King. And experience the joy of Mary and Joseph as they welcome their promised son into the world.

As the saying goes, sound is half of what we see. Mary rejoices. Joseph doubts. And it’s all beautifully scored in this original soundtrack.

"Social distancing"

It was a wonderful show!! They did an AMAZING job of social distancing and EVERYONE had on masks!! They would only let one member of your party go to the ticket counter and they had steps marked out to stay back 6 feet. ALL of the employees were friendly even under the difficult circumstances and some had on shields. I saw NUMEROUS employees walking behind people cleaning. The seating was VERY WELL spaced out with a maximum of 2 sets of viewers to a full row, in other words of there was a party of 2 and a party of 4 they were on the same row but no one else!! GOOD JOB!!

"Great Set Design !!!! But......."

To start with, Id give the message of this production 5 stars. However, this is one of the most expensive tickets in Branson and you should be able to find this message at a Sunday church service forfree so Im reviewing the production and notthe message. The box office experience is at best average and service pretty much ho hum. The concessions are horribly overpriced and the worst in town. $10 dollars for a collectors cup of coke with acanbout a can of cokeworth of beverage in it? $2 for a refill? Cmon...... Its a big theater and was filled. Bathroom capacity was underwhelming and there were long lines. The staff trying to fa cilitate this problem did not seem helpful. As a performance this is pretty much standard faire. Its not great and its not awful. Liberties were taken with the Noah story and I will admit that its biblically based but its not scripturally accurate.. Imagination was used. I thought that the performance of Jepthah was admirable but the others left me flat. I mean it was all ok but this is maybe the most expensive overall ticket in town. The script seemed flat, the performances were not special, the songs werent great and they were performed to church standards rather than top tier production show standards. Blocking and stage direction was poor. Overall it was underwhelming when you compare it against what the tickets cost. The set design however is a Bravura experience. Never have I at any level of theater experience seen an audience rise to their feet and give a standing ovation to the set. The set to open the post intermission experience was worthy of every cheer, clap, and outburst of acclaim. Outside of Jepthah the performance of this show just seems barely adequate if not flat. Its the most expensive tic,et in town and short of being military you wont find a discount. The set design lifts the whole experience up by its boot straps and enters the realm of mediocrity. The set design is easily 5 stars if not better. The message and Christian theme is 5 stars. The overall experience and what you pay to see is mediocre. A 3 star review for this performance is a kindness.

"Enjoyed Noah"

The Sight & Sound Theatre is a venue which presents musicals based upon stories in the Bible. We recently attended a performance of "Noah" at the theatre. I was pleasantly surprised at the qualify of the performance. I attend Broadway shows a couple of times a year, and this show was definitely in the same league as some of the performances I have seen. The sets were amazing, particularly the scene from inside the ark. As some reviewers have noted, the story is embellished from the Biblical account, but that is sort of necessary if you are going to turn the story into any sort of play. The theatre itself is a beautiful venue. The seating was very comfortable and I had an excellent view of the stage. Overall, I would give them a "C" on social distancing. We were well separated from other guests, but there weren't leaving every other row empty and some groups were right behind another group. Overall, I would recommend attending a performance of "Noah" at this theatre.

Fine production. It emphasizes the conflicts Noah’s family faced. The kids enjoy the animals. Packed house, no social distancing or mask requirements.
