LEGOLAND New York located on a hilly area wheelchair access, not overcrowded in April water rides weee closed. This is more geared to families with kids under 13 or Lego fans . We had a good time will come back since we got the season pass, ride operators and staff we met were all nice and helpful

Fun park, great for kids. Not a lot of people. Only issue was the rides were managed really inefficiently which made some waits really long

"Generally Enjoyable"

Generally speaking, we had a good time but I can't exactly say I found the experience to be as wonderful as many of the other reviews. I would say my primary dissatisfaction was with the wait times. On average, I'd say 45 minutes for a ride that was only about 2 minutes long. And on this particular visit, they must have been doing a lot of staff training as the transition time of riders on and off was horribly slow. The park is very clean and the staff we encountered were friendly. I found the ride selection to be pretty minimal. Ninjago was the most disappointing as I found the 3D to be outdated and the interactive part not functioning properly. Dragon coaster was the best ride but it was closed 60% of the day - so glad we caught it early in the day. The Factory Adventure Ride was interesting but was all of 3 minutes and not really worth a 45 minute wait. Enjoyed Ocean Explorer and Rogue Riders. The Ferrari exhibit was cool (although they should have someone manage the picture time) and Mini-land was impressive/enjoyable. On the downside, I can't figure out why they built an amusement park on a giant hill. It was especially annoying after a long day and you have an uphill hike back to your car (unless you pay extra for preferred parking - $55 - no thanks!). Pretty annoying. Food, as expected, was average and expensive. Found it odd there was no ice cream or sweet treat place (unless we missed it). Also very annoying that I dropped $120 in the Lego store and if you wanted a bag, you had to pay for it. Really? The water portion wasn't open so can't comment on that. But appeared to be mostly for little kids. If you can time it so the crowds are minimal, and cross your fingers the riders are all operating, well worth a visit. One thing I would note that IMO, this park is for kids aged about 5-9. Sure, give or take a bit but anyone over 10 may get bored pretty quickly.
