"OK spot, but will try another place on a return trip"

Stayed here three nights. The room and common areas were clean. I was taken aback by the threadbare bath mat and two bath towels (esp since the rooms are serviced every other day - for two people, would have expected four towels). The issue we had was that the shower gel was empty. So we asked for it to be refilled. It wasn't. We asked again and watched the interaction between the front desk staff and the housekeeping person. "Oh they have a problem in the bathroom." We had to be very specific and explain exactly what we needed -- more than once -- and say we expected immediate help. The maintenance guy replaced the shower gel for us. It seemed so basic, and yet we had to try literally three times before anybody helped. Weird. The front desk people were personable, but overall didn't seem well-prepared (or particularly interested) in providing customer service. It's strange how something like that can influence your feeling about your stay. But it did.

"A deal at $137 a night?"

Prices for rooms in 2025 are out of hand, good rooms for under $100 doesn't exist anymore. This was by far the cheapest within an hour from Bethel Woods and the only one under $135 (well with all the fees and crap $137). For that price I can never feel like I got a deal and the room was worth it. Yet thats our reality today, a room at this price point and condition seems like a win. The reviews are mixed recently, a lot more heading towards one star. That made me pause but honestly it wasn't THAT bad. Is it a little worn out? Sure. Is it sparkling new and clean? No. The room was fine, the mattress was comfy, bathroom was ok. What more do you really need for the night? (Well besides this being $80 a night) Also a quiet area, plenty of parking and multiple dining options near by.

The breakfast?? But other than that the room was very clean. Front desk gave us extra towels quickly. Very friendly and kind when we were checking in. Wasn’t very crowded but was nice because it was quiet. I went because my house was being worked on so this was a nice little get away.

"Good Spot to Stay in New York."

This is a reliable, standard Hampton Inn. It's not in pristine shape, but it's not warn down either. Maybe "not crisp" would be the appropriate tone. Everything was fine. Staff was welcoming and helpful. The lobby was neat and clean. Our room was fine. Clean and neat. The breakfast was hot with eggs and was fine. We have stayed here before and if we hadn't, I might have rated it 5-star....but it wasn't quite as good as I remembered. I bet they'll do an update in a few years.

Very nice 1st time stay was in town for niece’s wedding .stayed with our son also from out of town.room was clean and neat.bathroom clean .one small thing Bath mat either for inside or outside tub.outside of that room was great no problems.brakefast looked good but had coffee .yes we would stay again if in area .
