"Fun for the Kids but Room/Staff Leave a lot to be Desired"

We visited for 3 days in early July with 8 year old twins and a 17 year old. The staff and bellmen were rude from the get go and practically tore the luggage cart from my daughter’s hand. (They are very protective of those. They want to get the luggage themselves and if you want one at check out you have to go down and request it and give your room number. Even then you get a stern warning to “bring it back”- has stealing these been a problem??) I booked a room that “slept 5”. The fifth bed was a broken trundle bed that pulled from the bottom bunk bed. I don’t consider this a proper bed and went to the front desk to complain. They said that they could “let me have” another room for $325 a night! I feel like the rooms should be better described on the website. They also have a weird list of prices of things in the room in case you steal any of those. The whole vibe is like you are intruding instead of paid a fortune per night. Bricks restaurant was great and serves a complimentary breakfast. Just get there early-after about 9:30 there is a pretty long line. Kids loved the pool and the master builder class. Sign up for the master builder class a day in advance if possible as they were all very full! My kids can’t wait to go back but I would be very hesitant.

"Fun but very overpriced"

My family of four including a 7 and 4 year old just left our trip to the LEGOLAND hotel and park. This hotel is all about the kids but wow what an expensive vacation. The hotel needs updating and extra cleaning starting from their lobby. It smells humid and overcrowded. Their pool was also filled with bugs and leaves. Even though their are four lifeguards on site not one cleaning person. We ate breakfast the two days and it was decent except for the fact that you have to wait 30 min for your eggs to arrive at your table. By the time you got your eggs the rest of your buffet food was cold. Putting all this aside let’s focus on the nighttime entertainment. The staff is very friendly and great at entertaining the kids. This is what you pay for. Two hours each night for the kids to laugh, dance and play. A lobby filled with legos, kids running around and having fun. But is it really worth the $430 a night? I would consider visiting the hotel again if they drop their prices. We spend $1,500 for a two night trip with park tickets. I would have spend the same amount of money going for a few more days in Disney. If LEGOLAND doesn’t make changes to their prices I won’t be visiting again.

"A LEGO kid’s dream!"

This was our first time staying at this hotel and it was beyond great! From the second you walk into the hotel, it’s a kids dream come true. The mini figure wall behind the front desk is super cute. The play areas are well designed. The disco music in the elevator makes everyone dance and smile. Our hotel room was the Kingdom room and it was adorable. A treasure box for the kids to open with surprises inside, a “security camera” on the TVs showing LEGO guys playing around in the hallways and elevator, cute notes left for the kids in their bunk beds, a LEGO newspaper outside the door in the morning, and on and on! I don’t think one night is enough at this hotel. Next year, we will be back for two nights!

This was our first visit to Legoland. I traveled with my husband, my two boys (7 & 3), and my 12 year old nephew. We stayed in an Adventure theme room. I have been to Disney World about 20 times, with and without children, but we opted for a less expensive trip to Legoland this year. I was really impressed! There were so many fun details for the kids! The super fun dance party elevator, the Lego pits, the castle play area! I loved the room set-up! It was great to have the kids bunkbeds in their own nook. The stool, little potty seat, and lower towel hooks were great. The in-room treasure hunt was so much fun! We found the breakfast buffet to be busy (of course), but a good variety. The pool was great and there are life vests for use. The ONLY thing I found as a con was the noise of the lobby. Everything is completely open (the play-area, Skyline restaurant, Bricks restaurant, front desk, etc). One night we ate at Skyline Lounge (which was excellent), but it was soooo noisy because they were doing a skit at the castle. If your child has noise sensory sensitivity, be sure to bring something for their ears. The Legoland Hotel really exceeded my expectations! I love Disney, but they could definitely "steal" a few ideas from this place! Absolutely worth the money to stay at the Legoland Hotel, so if you are on the fence, definitely go for it!

"Great Place for Kids"

This is truly a kid friendly hotel. While I loved being able to walk to Legoland, what I loved the most was the bar, next to the lego pit. Great design where you can have a drink, while keeping a close eye on the kids running around.
