I had so much fun! We took our family there to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays. It was priced really fair and there's a ton of different stuff to do. We got there early and rode rides then went to the see the Legos and to the Aquarium. It was a great time I will always cherish. Next time we'll stay another day and go to the waterpark too.

"Overpriced and Underwhelmed"
July 2019
Short story is $100 a person for tickets to enter, $30 to park the car, $10 per try to play any of the carnival games, entry fee does NOT include the use of the 3 water parks, that will set you back another $30 a person, mostly a lot of walking around from attraction to attraction only to find long lines and more and more fees. Totally misrepresented. This trip was our 1st and out last to Legoland... Underwhelmed

LegoLand California was super fun for the kids and adults. Make sure to spend at least 2 days to experience it all. My kids range from 3 to 5 and they had plenty of rides they were allowed to ride.

"Family Vacation Done Right"
April 2019
My family and I (myself, 3 kids and their dad) spent Spring Break in the beautiful weather in Carlsbad Ca. It was our first time at Legoland and it did not disappoint. My 6 year old son was amazed at all the Lego people we saw and said I was the best mom ever for taking him. That was all worth it.

"We had a lovely time"

I will preface this by saying that by theme park standards, this place is small. We went to the San Diego Zoo the day after and it was bigger than Legoland. Also, these are strictly family rides. No supersonic or upside down roller coasters here. I did not know that before we arrived but I did not mind at all. I do not need speedy roller coasters. I just wanted my kids to have a great time and I wanted those fantastic churros that all Calif theme parks have. And the ones I had here with the dark chocolate dipping sauce were amazing. I wish they had a log ride but they don’t. I enjoyed the guided boat ride though during which the tour guide/captain told corny jokes.

"Bad attitudes and horrible customer service"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5
Reviewed March 06, 2020
Where to start? I took my eldest (now 17) here back when he was 5 and again when he was 12 with horrible experiences. Today, as I stand here now in Egyptian area I have come across 1 gentleman who had good customer service and helped. Yearly I go to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Seaworld, Zoo, Safari Park, Magic Mountain, amoung other amusement parks with my boys as Im 100% service connected and try to give to my boys what the service robbed them of, a father thats checked in for fun and not at the VA constantly for treatments (multiple times every week). Being so close to Camp Pendleton you would think this amusement park would be more friendly towards disabled vets and understanding of our issues in crowded lines in enclosed spaces with people bumping into you while yelling and screaming. I would love to make Legoland a normal stop as we are San Diego locals, but the lack of professionalism by 99% of the staff in a childrens targeted location is ridiculous. Not sure I will ever revisit the park, or maybe try again in anothee 5 years? As far as Im concerned, my anxiety is through the roof, I got massive shortness of breath, cold sweating, hypeevigillance is through the roof profiling everyone like Im on watch, and my migraine is ridiculous. Trying hard to not correct peoples rudeness as it feels like the park employees have zero customer service skills on being friendly, polite or helpful. Spend a good $20k a year on my kids having fun as well the numerous vet groups I go with to suppoet one another. If they all acted like this place Id never hit another spot again. The staff here must take lesaons from the VA staff cause wow, beyond words. I dont even write bad reviews and Im not even out od the park yet.

"Hotel was great, the park was not!"
TripAdvisor user rating 1 out of 5

We had a great experience in the hotel however the park was another story. The park service's employees were incredibly rude. We probably will not be going back because of that experience. People staying in the hotels get a 30 minute early entrance to the park, but is an absolute joke. When we brought our concerns to The guest services attention they basically told us to go away. With the amount of money we spent here you think they would be willing to listen to us.
