I had so much fun! We took our family there to celebrate our grandchildren's birthdays. It was priced really fair and there's a ton of different stuff to do. We got there early and rode rides then went to the see the Legos and to the Aquarium. It was a great time I will always cherish. Next time we'll stay another day and go to the waterpark too.

"Overpriced and Underwhelmed"
July 2019
Short story is $100 a person for tickets to enter, $30 to park the car, $10 per try to play any of the carnival games, entry fee does NOT include the use of the 3 water parks, that will set you back another $30 a person, mostly a lot of walking around from attraction to attraction only to find long lines and more and more fees. Totally misrepresented. This trip was our 1st and out last to Legoland... Underwhelmed

LegoLand California was super fun for the kids and adults. Make sure to spend at least 2 days to experience it all. My kids range from 3 to 5 and they had plenty of rides they were allowed to ride.

"Family Vacation Done Right"
April 2019
My family and I (myself, 3 kids and their dad) spent Spring Break in the beautiful weather in Carlsbad Ca. It was our first time at Legoland and it did not disappoint. My 6 year old son was amazed at all the Lego people we saw and said I was the best mom ever for taking him. That was all worth it.

Times were good. My only complaint is that we tried to go on ninjago before we left and the ride broke down right before we were about to go on. They then escorted us out and my daughter was very upset.

"Great park for young kids"
TripAdvisor user rating 5 out of 5
Reviewed November 16, 2019 NEW
This park is so colorful, fun, and has a variety of play areas, rides and other areas for children and families. Perfect for 5-10 year olds and their families, and all Lego Fans, of course. I liked that the park has something for everyone in almost each themed section. We were able to find some decent healthy food items, like smoothies, wraps, sandwiches and soups. Way better than any other theme park we have been to. Best to visit the park during school days of course if you can, to avoid long lines. I recommend this theme park to parents of young children. And stay at their resort if you can. Otherwise, visit the lobby after the park closes, have some drinks or dinner, and enjoy the kids party in the evening.

"Veterans day"
TripAdvisor user rating 2 out of 5
Reviewed November 16, 2019 NEW
We have visited Legoland California before and had a nice time, although would note that a large portion of the park is really quite dated and showing underinvestment. This time we visited on Veterans Day. We knew it would be busy, and assumed that the park would have ramped up its staff and ride capacity to take account of this. How wrong we were. 60 minute plus wait times for all major attraction, over 90mins for Ninjago the whole day. And when we did make it to the front of one or two lines (all we had time for!) we discovered that only half the loading capacity was being used. Other attractions around the park were also ramped down and operating at half capacity, with whole towers down at Power Towers. We queued for over 30 minutes to get some food at one of the outlets, and there were no tables. We queued for over 30 minutes to get through the parking kiosks. I think what made the whole thing feel worse was the attitude of at least 50% of the staff at the attraction - I found them surly and unfriendly, as if they held the customer in contempt. Not a smile on any face, and no attempt to create a nice atmosphere for the guest. Such a weird attitude from staff for a vacation spot, I've never encountered the same elsewhere. Disneyland is entirely different. Busy I understand. Making customers wait unnecessarily by staffing the busiest day of the year at low seasons staffing levels is unforgivable and leaves a sour taste. I've read the reviews below this and it seems many others share my feelings. Staff the park to the crowd levels, and do something to cheer your staff up Legoland!

"Lines are very inefficient"

These rides should take half as long as they are. Every line is run very inefficiently. 1 worker loading a car and letting seats stay empty. I will not return.
