Horrible experience. I went yesterday with family and friends, the service is horrible, the water park area stinks, the food service is superrrr slow. The park is getting worse every year. Lazy river and lake area were closed. Pool liner had a black line all around.

We stayed at the campground next door, which we were able to buy a one-day ticket and get a 2nd day free. A good deal when you have five kids. Plus they offer free premier parking, which is great to bypass the super long line of cars waiting to drive through the pay booths. Otherwise you’re paying $27 for general parking and $45 for premier, after waiting in line for at least an hour during opening time. Food - bring a giant wallet because it’s expensive. Like $5 for a paper soda cup with no refills (or lids or straws), $16 for a basket of chicken tenders and fries. Drinks/water - was hoping to get the refillable cup for $18, but everywhere I went was sold out. The soda machines outside are all swarming with hornets, so be careful when refilling. They do have water refill stations around the park, usually near the restrooms. You can also get free ice and water out of any soda machine. Rides/Games - all operated by teenagers who just need a summer job. These are reviews of the rides that my family went on, not all, and doesn’t include the water park. Sawmill Plunge - not worth the wait, barely a splash. 4/10 Thunder Rapids - fun ride, your bottom half gets soaked more than the rest of you. Although no water from above, just the river water. Slightly disappointed. Although it did look like I peed my shorts the rest of the day! 6/10 Carousel - basic carousel ride, do have benches and stationary horses. 10/10 Ghost Hunt - a small cart (max 4 people) brings you around a track and you shoot the targets with a gun and rack up points. Might be scary for a toddler. 10/10 Boulder Dash - my husband and kids had a great time, but it is aggressive. It’s doesn’t go upside down or have any spinney turns, but it does go fast and jolts you from side and side. My 10 year old who loves roller coasters said his back hurt afterwards 😂 8/10 Down time - classic drop tower, except this one brings you all the way to the top and just waits, so you don’t know when you’ll drop. Then it seesaws you a few times before coming down. 10/10 Thunder N Lightning - pretty much a giant swing. They have two, but only one was operating at the time. My husband originally was gonna go on, but then chickened out. My kids liked it - 10/10 Phobia Phear Coaster - my son was the only one brave enough to go on this coaster, mostly because it looks like you’ll need a barf bag afterwards. There are loops, spinney turns, and you go backwards at one point. He loved it though. 10/10 Wildcat - good wooden coaster, although a very long wait as there’s only one car. 9/10 Zoomers Gas n Go - take a little sports car for a ride. Perfect ride for my toddlers to go on with a parent, they can sit in the drivers seat and feel like they’re driving while you push the pedal. 10/10 Kiddie Swinger - a cute little ride for toddlers, barely goes fast, probably slower than the carousel. 10/10 Kiddie Coaster - a kid friendly coaster that goes around a small track twice. Kids under 36” can’t ride so measure your toddlers first to avoid disappointment. 10/10 Drum Circus - similar to teacups. Kids sit in small drums and can spin. 10/10 Little Critters - bumper cars for little kids. A little disappointing to see seven cars, but two were out of commission and only three out of the remaining five were being used. Took a long time to get through the line of 20 kids. When my son finally got to the front, there was now only two cars being used. Plus the area that they drive around in isn’t very big, mostly just a big oval where you can go in a big circle. 3/10 Little Dare Devils - tiny motorcycles. Go around in a circle. 10/10 Rev-O-Lution - a giant circle with seats facing out, which then goes back and forth on a track while simultaneously spinning. My 12 year old mentioned that something was digging into his back (maybe to prevent you from falling out?) and it kind of hurt him afterwards. 7/10 Would definitely return and stay at the campground again just for the ticket deal and free parking.

"Corporate greed has taken over"

In an effort to be as clear as possible both good and bad, let me outline the pros and cons. Pros Rollercoasters First aide staff Lifeguards Friendly park workers Flume ride Ample bathrooms Free water refill hydration stations Cashless pay Food options Cons Poor signage Closing water park and select rides hour early without updating calendar for private annual event and still charging same price for tickets. Management at guest relations indifferent as my 10 year old said “lacks respect for us” Management telling us that the private event “paid a lot of money” when concerns about a hard close more than 2 hours before park closure occurred without warning. Parking $28 with fees on top of admission cost Rides being “hard closed” at 3:55pm and those waiting in line suddenly turned away even people who had been waiting >30 minutes when posted signs say “closing early for private event 5pm” and park closes at 6pm Closing water park at 5pm when posted time is 6pm on >90 deg day and charging same price No cash Admission ticket including meal states comes with things that are unavailable when you attempt to redeem Waterpark pools closed >4 times for poop in previous visit not this one Water park lines consistently slow and long >1 hour Waterslides not open limiting ride options Having visited this park multiple times this is what we conclude. They booked a private event which come to find out is an annual event “Jewish night” so the park knows ahead of time and chooses not to update their time calendar of opening hours and charges the same price for tickets to the public. In this day and age websites are easily updated and this seems disrespectful to patrons but as we were told they “paid a lot of money.” The hours for the day were 11-6 for both water and regular park but on arrival all signs said water park and Thunder Rapids would be closing at 5pm instead. They cleared Thunder Rapids at 3:55 and literally told everyone who had been waiting too bad Management said so. The response from “Management” was corporate said so and they gave us 2 expired speed passes for one ride because we complained about the hard close with no notice (contradicting their sign posted for 5pm) as we were set to board. It was so dismissive that my 10 year old was upset saying “they don't respect us.” I completely agree. This park seems to have gone the way of corporate greed and is no longer the family friendly place it once was. Some great rides but there are places that value their patrons and respect them far better without poop in the pool.

"Don't do it! You don't get what you pay dearly for, shameful, greedy, poorly managed, poorly run"

Don't waste your hard earned money thinking this is gonna be a great day our with you with you grandkids, think again. For the prices of of admission, extra $27 pay for parking, and then $16 greasy burgers and chicken...and don't get me started on the price on the all day drink cups $18 after taxes. 1. Waiting to get into the park in our car was atrocious over an hour and half in the hot sun. The parking lanes fanned out to eight entrances but nothing was moving at all. Then the parking attendants were young teens and half the time not even paying attention to what they were doing. 2. Long hot walk to entrance, entrance moved along ok but that was the only place we saw any security staff. 3. We buy our unlimited drinking cups for $18....they should be called lucky if you get one drink and some ice cups. Every time we went up to one of these stations, they were either out of soda and ice or only had water coming out of them, we also witnessed other people having the same issue with kids in tow, how frustrating. If you want something to eat plan on standing in the hot sun for about an hour to get anything, you would think at least there would be some kind of canopies over the line to protect the visitors from sun stroke at least, and all of it is greasy and heavy on your stomach. 3. The teenagers running these rides looked like they didn't even want to be there and we're going about there jobs as slowly as possible, and not always filling up all the seats which delayed wanna be ride goers even further. 4. In the whole day we're were there we didn't get on many rides for having to wait in such long lines with rides being run by teens who could care less. I was able to ride three, our daughter and grand daughter did 2 and my husband only once!. I nearly went into heat stroke for the lake of any drinks for our "unlimited" cups. 5. I needed to use the restroom so I went to the one where the dressing rooms are for the water park....and guess what???? Long line there too! So I'm waiting and waiting and finally one woman came out and said I'd you need a toilet there around the back of the dressing room stalls! I had no idea, nothing was marked, so when she said that me and about 4 other ladies bailed out of the line to go further in the get to the toilets. It was terribly hot inside there, again almost passed out due to lack of hydration. Since my husband was waiting for me he didn't get to go on another ride so he told our daughter and granddaughter to go get in line for the raft ride. I didn't feel good by this point so my husband and I sat on a beach chair so I could catch my breath and try to feel better and wait for our kids return.....well ...they ended up being in line for over one hour too ride a 2 minute ride....they told us many of the rafts were only going with a couple of people in them instead of being filled up......and guess what? The parks gonna be closing soon. So in my opinion the only people having real fun are the new owners who are just raking in the money but not providing the services, it's all about the money. So I think the lack of refillable drinks, long lines, and poor food choices are a real red flag for not taking your family here when you are on a budget....also this is a smaller more family friendly park that they should limit the attendance to per day, this isn't no six flags or anything. We have had much more fun at amusement parks that were way bigger perhaps because the were being managed properly. I think it does really trickle down to that, it's being managed poorly and it also reflects on there employees who looked like they could of cared less. We were so looking forward to a wonderful day with our granddaughter, but it was not to be. Please here my advise, as this place used to be alright, but our recent experience was utterly horrible and we feel completely ripped off!

We have been going to this water park for a few years now, and this year was disappointing. You can buy one day ticket with discount, but you will still need to pay parking fee and more money for meal. Cheapest ticket attracts more people and therefore the place is more crowded. Longer lines to get food, go on rides. Not to mention NO LOCKERS available!!! Now were going to talk about the service. When we entered the buffet, the floors were so messy and dirty, the sitting area was not cleaned (tables with leftovers, stained and sticky). The staff the serve the food move slow and we waited for over an hour just to get our food. As much as we love the rides, after 6pm the area is so packed. Also, allowing people to smoke inside the park makes this place less attractive.
