The loop tour lasts approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes from start to finish. However, the route is designed for you to hop off at any stop to explore an attraction or neighborhood at your own pace. When you are ready, just hop back on the trolley to resume your San Antonio sightseeing experience.
You can begin your tour at any one of the 12 convenient stops.
Expect a trolley every 20 to 30 minutes at each stop. The frequency may vary depending on the time of the year, traffic, and weather conditions.

The San Antonio River Walk is approximately 15.2 miles meandering through the heart of the city–a bustling city street lined with towering cypress trees, shops, and restaurants. It encompasses the downtown area and stretches into lush nature and quiet escapes.
The Old Town Trolley covers the downtown portion of the River Walk but, exploring its full 15-mile journey might require a leisurely bike ride or a scenic boat cruise.
The Historic Market Square is the largest Mexican market in the U.S. with colorful stalls with artisan wares, from hand-woven blankets and Talavera pottery to traditional Mexican candies, souvenirs, and more. You can also savor sizzling fajitas, flavorful tacos, and fresh churros from authentic Tex-Mex cafes and food stalls while listening to a lively melody of mariachi music filling the air.
Most trolleys are wheelchair accessible with motorized lifts. To ensure availability, please call the number on your e-ticket at least 24 hours in advance. Accessible boarding is available at Stops 1–3 and 6–12 only. Wheelchairs must not exceed a combined total of 600 lbs, including the rider and any cargo, and must be no larger than 30" x 48". Collapsible wheelchairs may be brought aboard if the guest can transfer to a seat.
