Room was horrible. The rug looked dirty and the floor was sticky. You didn't want to remove your shoes. Shelf in the closet was falling off and the paint was peeling off in chunks. The light in the bathroom had no cover. Smoke detector in bedroom was missing but the wires were hanging out. Large patch jobs with paint slapped on them. Lots of rust spots. For $400 a night - it wasn't worth $40 a night. I contacted corporate who said sorry we have notified the hotel about your concerns. The hotel contacted me and said sorry they will share with the staff to fix and hope we will stay there again. If you don't care how it looks and is maintained now I can't see you making it better. Upon check out I was told they emailed my bill. I still haven't seen it.

This should be your last resort hotel. Our cousin prepaid for the rooms. Upon arrival the rooms weren't reserved for us and the hotel was oversold. Front desk people kept their composure, as they were working under duress. The hotel was sold out, and they were keeping track of inventory on a scrap of paper. So by 2:00 am we finally got a room. The first room my cousin had smelled like a wet dog, however, they were able to move his room the next day. The first room we were given had a empty bag of Doritos on the floor, and the bed had no sheets on the bed. At that point, I searched high and low to find another hotel, and they were all sold out in the area, so we had no choice but to stay. Pretty sure someone else was bumped out of a room, to give us one. The next morning, still the same issue, guest arriving to not having rooms. My guess is no one has control of the cleaning staff. One Jamaican staff member, reprimanded another cleaning staff member, as we asked for soap for the shower, and the cleaning person rolled the cart by saying "no oble". I'm pretty sure, you should know what the word soap means in English, and you should also know the words "Towel, washcloth etc.. if you are working in a hotel. Won't even mention the tiny antlike bugs in the room, and the bathroom door looked like it was filthy and someone painted over the filth, carpet in bedroom was not vacuumed before our stay. Find another hotel....

I was going to stay on points. In other words, a 10-day stay free. I stayed one night and left. The only thing I can say positive about the hotel is that it was clean. My coffee maker didn't work. My safe didn't work. My bathroom door wouldn't close. This was the second room I got. The first room had a non-functioning thermostat. I tired for a third room but the desk clerk said they were completely booked. Well, OK. Stayed one night (I had arrived at 8:30 PM) and left the follow morning. A woman I met in the elevator (only 1 of 2 functioning) said that it was the worst Holiday Inn she'd ever stayed in and she was checking out that day too.

We were on a trip with family. Never ever have we felt so violated, so unsafe, and so unheard. Just to name a few, and pictures will be uploaded: No cover on the wall outlet Front door did not lock! Back sliding door did not lock! No bathroom door, at all Filthy dirty baseboards Old crusted water pipes Nearly nonexistent breakfast If it had not been so late, and we had not had such an early start the next day, there is no doubt we would have left. Halfway through the night, I even thought of sleeping in the car for better safety. This is no joke. We were appalled that the city of Boca would allow a hotel to present the type of safety issues we experienced at this hotel. Although we asked for a callback from management, we never received one. We did contact IHG, and they refunded some, but not all of our stay. Protect your family. Do not stay at this hotel.

Driving down from Vero Beach to Boca Raton, Florida, to spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with family, I discovered this Holiday Inn to be conveniently located. Shortly after checking in, I realized that this particular hotel is aging and showing its age, the reason for its budget rates for an upscale town. Our bed and pillows were comfortable, room design dated but providing many electric and device outlets. Complimentary breakfast buffet was unremarkable. Rooms facing the outdoor pool, which unfortunately did not include ours, are more pleasant.
