International Drive is just a 5-minute drive from the hotel where The Wheel at Icon Park, Ripley's Believe it or Not, WonderWorks, Sleuths Mystery Dinner Show and many more are located.

Holiday Inn & Suites Across From Universal Orlando offers complimentary WiFi throughout the property's public spaces as well as in guest rooms. A 24-hour business center with wireless printing, copying, and faxing is available. With a 24-hour fitness center, it is easy to relax and unwind while keeping your fitness routine in check. Other amenities include a Splash Zone Pool for kids and an outdoor pool with lounge chairs and umbrellas.

The hotel provides a free scheduled shuttle service to Universal Orlando Resort if you prefer the shuttle rather than the walk. Shuttle services and transportation to other Orlando area attractions are available for a fee and can be arranged at the hotel's concierge desk.

Dining is easy as TGI Fridays on-site is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A Kids' eat-free program for registered hotel guests is available. The Kids Eat Free offer is limited to up to four (4) children per dining family, per meal OR up to two (2) children per parent, per meal. *The Kids Eat Free offer is not available for room service* or with room rates negotiated for groups of 10 or more rooms, travel industry rates, corporate rates or employee rates. Stayed here whilst visiting Universal studio resort for 6 days. Check in was easy. Our room had two double beds and an ensuite. The room was a little basic and looked a little bare, we arrived to no running water so informed reception who said its been out all day.. We had planned to just use the hotel as a base to sleep. There was a shuttle to the Universal resort - Only if you had pre booked with the rep downstairs. They had already left the day we arrived so we walked to the park, which was about 25 mins. If you could get a shuttle then they were great, however we did find that 3 per day to the park and 3 return was pretty lacking for the amount of people trying to catch them (serving 3 hotels on route A). The returns were the worst as these were first come, first serve. So a few times we walked back as there just wasn't capacity in the bus. We had paid for breakfast which is held in TGI Friday next door, they were quite friendly (apart from the last day, we were told we had 15mins to eat up).The food was ok, nothing amazing. Our bed was made each day, the towels were replaced, however the dirty ones weren't taken so ended up in a pile. Beds were very comfy and the aircon worked. There wasn't a phone to call reception. The tv signal was very poor, only 5 channels were clear. Saw others using the pool, but didn't use ourselves. Didn't need parking but heard reception say it was $25 a day Overall Ok stay.

Cant emphasize enough how much Sabrina at the Front Desk went above and beyond multiple times for me, absolute gem, and super helpful. Made my stay as comfortable as possible! Rooms are great, location is great, but the staff are really the cream of the crop here.

Service from front desk was as rude as it’s ever been. I late checkout was confirmed on arrival as a member status; on the day of departure I had 3 knocks on door to ask us to leave as they needed room. I then had a call from Francisco at front desk to tell me it’s not our choice, they have no record of the confirmation at check in and it doesn’t matter what my membership status is. I asked to speak to a manager or deputy manager just to confirm and again was refused to even speak to them. Worst service ever experienced from any IHG hotel I’ve never stayed in. Made to feel like I was lying and the fact I’ve been loyal to IHG for many years stood for nothing

The hotel staff was unfriendly. The hall to the room was dark with wavy carpet. The hotel is getting renovated, and it's greatly needed. Was not notified renovations was taking place. Needed towel for the pool. Asked front desk and was told someone would restock towels. An hour later went back because my child was ready to get out. The lady at the front was so rude . Had to ask if she could just please get us a towel. Someone behind her handed us one. We Won't return to this hotel

Revan was the best!! She was super helpful during check in and even contacted maintenance to find us a luggage cart for our belongings. Highly recommend staying here!! We love it and have been staying here multiple times a year for the last 4 years.
