"Not “1BLK/Disneyland” but decent place to stay"

The official name of this hotel is deceiving...it’s certainly not 1 block from Disneyland. It’s a 15-20 minute walk to get to downtown Disney, then thru downtown Disney to the parks. For us it wasn’t a problem but if the customer is expecting to be that close to Disney due to mobility limitations then they should rethink. There is a shuttle that stops at the hotel and for a one way fare of $4 you can get dropped right outside the main gate area of the parks. They also have a $6 day pass for that bus, but you must buy that from the front desk, it cannot be purchased on the bus. The hotel itself was just fine, we found the staff to be kind, the room was fine, beds comfortable. Room has coffee maker, fridge and small microwave. Pool was open but splash park was not. The restaurant was great for breakfast, very reasonably priced. The bar in the evening was a great value, drinks were very inexpensive compared to places in downtown Disney. Parking is $18 per day, but not unreasonable considering cost to park at the parks. The price we paid for the room was a very good deal for the proximity to the parks! Overall would stay again.

"Great hotel near Disneyland"

This is our second time at this hotel and we’ll be coming again. The rooms are updated, well insulated and quiet. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There are restaurants near by, Disneyland is a short walk away, and the price is amazing. What more can you ask for?

Holiday Inn is great! Staff is 10/10! Super helpful. Clean rooms. Pizza at the restaurant is a great value and tastes good. Breakfast buffet is great. The small gift shop is cool to check out for Disney Knick knacks.

I dont typically leave bad reviews and I'm late doing this one but had friends ask where I stayed most recently and figured I'd share my experience. The hotel itself is nice. Average, affordable, clean and decent location if you dont mind the walk to Disney (totally fine with us). Perfect for what we needed. What disappointed me was the service. First night- fast asleep after a day of travel. Someone tries to enter my room. They assigned it to someone else! I called down and she said no one is on this room, well clearly I am. I'm calling you from it, you gave me a key, I filled out paperwork. She asks if she can sort it out and call me back. No, its 1130 and my kid and I want to sleep. Just give the new family another room. Next morning I stop at the desk and ask if I need new keys because of what happened. They said no you will be fine. So I come back at 1030 after a long day at the parks and low and bend, key doesnt work so I get a new one. Next day, come back and my door is open from the cleaning staff who never closed it after cleaning it. Who knows how many hours it was accessible to anyone. I complained, no apology. Now we are on the next day, keys dont work AGAIN. staff blames me saying it's the key card in my phone. Now my phone has a heavy case on it, and then another rubber key holder on it. The key never touches the phone. I explain this, and that the key in my daughter's backpack also does not work so clearly it's not the issue. The guy at the front desk proceeds to tell me it IS my phone and their keys will disarm. Not listening at all that her key also doesn't work, even though it has not come in any contact with anything. Now I spend about 6-8 weeks a year in hotels. Never has a key deactivated in my key holder...but he tells me their system is different. I guess this one hotel in a major chain has a completely different system than every other hotel in the world lol. The point is, the staff don't listen and showed they don't care. I have never really experienced that before. As a frequent traveler Inknow things go wrong, accidents happen, mistakes are made. It's how they are dealt with that will make or break a stay. This staff broke it. I don't care how good a deal I got or comes up in the future, I will not recommend this hotel to any of my clients on the future.

Very nice motel in a good location. I would definitely recommend this motel. They had a real good breakfast each morning. The weather was a little to cool to go in the motel pool. I visited several places close to Anaheim including Los Angelos and Beverly Hills. I took a tour bus and got to see a lot of sights. I also took a train ride along the Pacific and went to San Diego for a day. This was a very nice trip.
