"Basic Hotel, very poor Service in Restaurant"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed May 07, 2025 NEW
EXTREMELY poor value for the money. Dated and worn furniture in hotel room seemed like pieces you would donate to Goodwill. Dined in the hotel restaurant twice. (dinner and breakfast). Waited at least 10 minutes just to get seated because no hostess was there to seat you. Waited another 10-15 minutes to be given a glass of water and acknowledged by wait staff. Another 10 minutes to have order taken. Once served, hardly had anyone check on us except to bring check. Seems the Hilton brands are truly going downhill. There was NOTHING special about this hotel except location. Definitely not worth the price.

"WORST RESORT IN THE WORLD"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed May 05, 2025 NEW
I have been wanting to write this review for a year now. I actually stayed at this "resort" in May 2024. I was traveling with my husband, my dad, and my uncle (my dad's brother). This was a trip we took to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. On our second day there, my husband, my uncle and myself went hiking while my dad stayed by the pool since he was getting ready to have a hip replacement and could not hike with us. We finished our hike and were about 3 minutes from the resort when my phone rang and it was my dad calling. When I answered it was a woman who was absolutely frantic. She was screaming something about drowning and i could hear absolute chaos going on in the background. We arrived and I ran into the pool area and saw my dad lying on the side of the pool with an EMT (who just arrived 1 minute before we did) doing CPR. I was obviously inconsolable. One of the ladies that called me told me to go hold his hand and talk to him, which I did. The EMT's worked on him for 45 minutes but he did not make it. Later I found out the ladies that worked on him were in the medical field. When they noticed my dad "floating" they screamed for help but not 1 staff member came forward. The two ladies called 911 AND pulled my dad out of the water and started CPR immediately all the while the staff members stood by and did NOTHING. Not once after this happened did any staff member come to check on us. I did get to know the ladies that tried to save my dad and found out that when they checked out early that they charged them an early cancellation fee and charged them for the margaritas they ordered while waiting to be released by the police. When we cancelled dad's room for the rest of the stay they were also going to charge us an early cancellation fee. I was absolutely traumatized and ended up in the ER that night. I think this resort not only needs an inside/outside makeover but they need to re-staff with people that actually have a heart and any semblance of compassion. Needless to say I will NEVER EVER stay there again.

"Avoid Due To Construction"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed April 26, 2025 NEW
Avoid this hotel, it’s under major construction. In a picturesque location like Sedona, where they are selling views and atmosphere, shame on them for not warning guests. We paid $1,200+ for one two-queen suite, with upgraded red rocks views. We were sorely disappointed upon check in. Not only is the hotel surrounded by parking lots on all sides, one entire half of the hotel has an ACTIVE CONSTRUCTION SITE. See photos from our room. Housekeeping did not clean our room unless we called and specifically requested they come by with towels and blankets. We were on spring break with two children, who found the “heated” pool very cold and thus spent very little time in it. The same experience was had by all families on the pool deck. We dined on property two evenings and both times the food left much to be desired. Very few healthy options - a dry Caesar salad or beets. Pros: Nightly live music. Fire pits. Complimentary water refill station in lobby. Starbucks offerings in bar. Cons: Construction views. Rude and distracted reception staff. Cold pool. Hit n miss housekeeping. Very limited dining menu and food not high quality. Self parking very spread around property.

"Came for a Good Friday… left on a Great Friday!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed April 20, 2025 NEW
We came for 2 day-1 night getaway- a little business-related tourism, & sight-sighing on the agenda, as well as attending an educational / health clinic, & was traveling with my senior-citizen father—(who is not the easiest to accommodate) & the trip went so smoothly & it was just top-notch all-around —All thanks to the peaceful atmosphere they provide at this place. Only downside was some construction going on front side of hotel- but that was only during the day- (when we were out exploring anyways). Rooms- so cozy… spacious enough & have little fake-fireplaces that work really well. They have a very clean &luxurious spa w/ indoor + outdoor hot tubs, + a full-size lap-pool! Yoga class with Darlene— 5 Stars! She has some super-chill flows & will make you sweat at the same time… I highly recommend Darlene’s “sunrise yoga” class, it will give you a great sample of what Sedona is all about-relaxing and breathing it all in. The accommodations were spot-on! They even allow pets! (I’m bringing my fur-babiez next time!). They treated us well. The front-desk lady with glasses, and curly/wavy hair- I think her her name was Caroline or Melody- very good sense of humor, very knowledgeable, she helped us out- you can tell she cares and loves helping people, she she’ll show you all the options for whatever type of room suites your needs. At the restaurant, they had a live singer, playing songs on request! So Great! -Prices might be lil steep, but you get Great experience- it balances out. - Cheese platters, beer-samplers, burgers, etc and table-side fire-pits! 🔥 What else do you need? Nothing. It was perfect. And our waitress , I think it was Monique- she was working so-hard… she may be the sweetest waitress ever. She made us smile. I had the All-American burger- it just melted in my mouth like butter…. I will remember that burger for many moons. Highly recommend for families & senior citizens & anyone looking for a peaceful place to stay while exploring Sedona! Great Activities, Great room, Great Atmosphere, Great Service, Great Yoga, Great Restaurant They must be Making Hotels Great Again at this place. Even though it rained, and we couldn't golf… we had a Peaceful, relaxing, magical time in Sedona.

"Very average place to stay in Sedona"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5
Reviewed April 18, 2025 NEW
We booked this stay with points and it was a classic “get what you pay for experience”. The room was supposed to be a Mountain View. If you bent your body around a building there was a small view. Also, the main view was of a construction site down below . We are gold members and I was quite disappointed with the room they gave us. The pool was cold. The one enjoyable part was they had live music at the restaurant (food was very average) and offered stargazing with telescopes. They had free laundry with detergent which was nice. Would not stay again, even for free. One item to note, this hotel is at the south end of Sedona near Bell Rock but not very centrally located for other sites, attractions and hikes leading to a lot of traffic.
