I sat down for breakfast and had an amazing experience with Hilary! She was down to earth and made sure we had everything we needed. She topped our experience overall! She made me a delicious iced latte from the coffee bar that’s just right and went with the delicious food I ordered. I believe the chefs name was Diego. Whoever it was did amazing with the food!!! Hilary is also so patient and attentive to kids and overall genuine!! The hotel itself is very nice and clean. The outdoor area is very beautiful. They also have activities for kids daily. The atmosphere is very welcoming and comfortable! They have an amazing little shop near the front desk that has all the goodies! I didn’t catch the front desk people names but shout out to them. All I can say is this resort is a definite recommendation I had to make an account just to share my experience!!

The bed is very comfortable. The we problem with this property is the lack of real amenities to justify the price of the room and the surprise extra amenity fee. The pool had no pool towels in the cabana area. We were swimming for quite a while snd no one brought any to refresh the shelves. I asked the person working at the pool bar and she simply said “they’re over there.” Never offered to make a phone call to tell them the pool area was out of towels. We were wet and had to go into the main door of the hotel to ask for a pool towel. The guy working simply grabbed a few bar towels. The hand towel size!! Never attempted to solve the problem either. Sure it’s a petty detail but a RESORT with not enough pool towels and two different employees who didn’t aféele it was their job to help is just a motel 6 with a better bed. Now let’s talk about the tv. They only have streaming options that require you enter your own code. Very low brow. Not the type of thing you’d expect at a “resort.” One last thing to prepare yourself for— this place really really leans in to the “Texas country” vibe. Country music is playing in every corner of this place. Lobby, restaurant, pool. Everywhere. And it’s the modern cheesy country, not good legit country. It really is playing everywhere. There is parking, but it’s not covered.
