I stay at this hotel often for work. I like it a lot as the rooms are clean, the bedding is fresh and there is a restaurant and bar that serves delicious Italian food conveniently accessible via the lobby. Another reason I love coming here is the staff, managed by Joe, who does a wonderful job, which is clear to see as everything here is handled professionally, efficiently and with a smile. I always look forward to seeing him and the other friendly staff members at check in. I have stayed at my share of midtown hotels and this is definitely one of my favorites. Finally, I would be remiss if I didn't mention the free Starbucks coffee in the lobby, which is a great perk as well. Highly recommend and book ahead of time as it sells out quickly.

We’ve stayed before at this location but I have to say… while the rooms are the same - spacious by NYC standards and very clean- the staff have REALLY upped their game. Everyone is friendly, cheerful and helpful. Which made the stay even better! Thank You!!

Stayed overnight 2/21 in room #3606, unfortunately I left my Black suit jacket hanging in the closet, call 2/22 @1:00pm and spoke with the house keeping manager who said they found the jacket and would keep it safe until we could pick it up. On 2/26 after working a 12 hour shift (I'm a RN) my coworker and I decided to call the hotel and confirm they had the jacket, spoke to the front desk woman and she assured us the jacket would be brought up to the front desk to make it easy for us. We arrive and the can't find the jacket, the house keeping guy was trying to be helpful and brought out 3 different jackets but none were mine, the front desk lady wasn't helpful at all and had a bad attitude. Very bad communication and very unorganized. The restaurant on site was nice and we enjoyed that. Also I emailed the manager before our second arrival and still haven't heard anything back. Not cool.

Well I must say this is a mixed review. I stayed a weekend and called the day twice to ensure before check in the next day to confirm my rooms were on the same floor connected or right next to each other. The night of check in , there was confusion and my alloted rooms had been given away to someone else and my family had to be on separate floors and we had to move both rooms the next day to be on the same floor. We were told that our destination fees would be waived and would be given 4 free breakfast for the inconvenience. Also we were mislead being told that parking would be validated but later found it was only 10.00 discount. Recommended parking with the discount 70.00. The next day went to breakfast to find that it was not added to our room and I had to go to the service desk and request 4 breakfast vouchers. And while there I found that all fees were still there. I had to explain again what happened and request a receipt to have proof it would be zero charges. Also had to pay another incidental hold fee of 100.00 per room, so now it was 100.00 per room x4 =400 because of a room change. Most of the staff in hotel lobby working the desk was professional but it felt like there was incompetence because I had to repeat my self many times and fee removals, confirmed room placement did not happen until after I questioned the staff. This was very discouraging and I had written the hotel off as a return stay. Then we met MICHELLE and she is professional, competent, and welcoming. She is at the hotel lobby desk and she just took charge and made it all seem like it was going to be okay. She helped make sure the room were on the same floor and right next to each other. She held our luggage while we went out to tour the city and did not seem annoyed when I called to verify the rooms were ready so we could return. She gave us recommendations and was happy to reiterate information for my reassurance. On check out day I felt like I was leaving family aka Michelle and was certain I will return to visit again but call first to see if she is working! Thank you Michelle for making me and my family of 6 stay great!!! I have no true complaints about the room cleanliness except one of the rooms smelled like someone was smoking as the pillow smelled like cigarettes. Outside of that the rooms were as advertised.

Repeat stay at this property & we enjoyed it again! Michelle & Ibeth at the front desk are the best. We like this property for the location and value. It is close to Subway stations, Times Square, Bryant Park & the New York public library. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff here is so helpful and friendly. We will be back.
