Whether you are traveling for business or pleasure, or both, the Hilton Garden Inn in San Bernardino is a perfect place to stay located less than five miles from San Bernardino International Airport. The Shandin Hills Golf Club is approximately 8.2 miles from the hotel while the National Orange Show Event Center is around 2.4 miles. For thrills and fun, Castle Park is less than 20 miles away.

This completely non-smoking hotel provides on-site dining at the Garden Grille & Bar. An outdoor pool is available for relaxation and recreation. Business centers and meeting rooms are available for business travelers. In addition, there is also a well-equipped gym for maintaining your workout routine.

We are a British family who decided to spend our two week Christmas holiday across in California to try to find some winter sunshine :o) Here is my review of the Hilton Garden Inn in San Bernardino. We had checked in on the Hilton app, and had obtained digital key. but we realised that we needed to sort out the parking, and get a permit from the front desk. Sheryl sorted us out quickly, and efficiently. She was friendly, and helpful, and made us up a couple of physical keys. In the UK, and across in mainland Europe we get breakfast at every Hilton property, as we're Hilton Honors Diamond. It's different in the US, and very few hotels provide breakfast as a benefit. The Hilton Garden Inn is no exception, you don't get a free breakfast here even if you're Gold or Diamond. I know things are changing this year, but if you're from the UK, just be aware that things are different in North America. What you do get however, is a food credit, which varies in the amount depending on the hotel brand, and location. At this HGI the credit was ten dollars for two adults. Sheryl was kind enough to explain it to us, and to help us when we used the credit to buy items from the lobby "shop" which used a self service system. The room was clean, and pleasantly furnished. We had enough toiletries, and towels for the whole family. Sometimes it gets tedious when you're having to ask for enough towels for everyone in your family, but that wasn't an issue here. We all had a good nights sleep, and made use of the in room Keurig style coffee maker, and the microwave for a quick breakfast before we drove to Universal Studios. All in all, we had a pleasant experience at the hotel, and we really couldn't fault it. That said, our experiences in downtown San Bernardino were a tad shady in some places. It felt a little unsafe in various areas. But we had zero safety concerns at the hotel whatsoever. If you're passing through, or visiting SB, we would certainly recommend the HGI. Thanks for reading.

My son and I had a quick stopover here on our way from San Francisco. We booked a Double Queen room. My bed was extremely comfortable, as always with Hilton premises. Unfortunately my son’s bed creaked very badly, making it difficult for both of us to sleep. (These things happen). I mentioned it to reception who advised the manager was not working that day. On her return she contacted me and refunded the price of the room. That is what I call Customer Service, the most important thing in hospitality. Thank you.

The hotel is situated just off of the freeway making it an easy access to get both on and off the atmosphere is quite pleasant. It is very quiet. Are very clean and it is priced at a reasonable rate. In terms of amenities they have a little restaurant downstairs. They have a little store with plenty of snacks and drinks. My room was very clean..
