"Another Hilton, another unsatisfactory stay. "

Another Hilton, another unsatisfactory stay. Box of empty condoms in closet waiting for me upon arrival, yapping dog next door to my room so they made me move as opposed to disturbing the guest that was bothering everyone else, stayed 5 days and they cleaned room twice, key card reader was down across the entire hotel starting day 3 of stay and until check out so front desk had to escort me to my room the duration of my stay even when I came back late at night to let me into my room. Light bulb was out above closet and I informed front desk but nothing was ever done about it so I moved Light bulbs around myself. The fitness center is missing dumbells and also the cable fly machine equipment needs better handles as they are worn out. For them to offer me a late checkout they were going to charge me. For all this inconvenience they couldn't manage this one gesture of hospitality. I've stayed at Hiltons in NYC, DC and now ATL and their lack of hospitality is universal. It seems fundamental to their core to screw the guest over and then charge them just to make things right. I did email the GM on day 3 of my stay as the housekeeping wasn't done as I requested and to this day I still haven't received a response.

"Beware: Nightmare Experience with Hotel Billing and Customer Service"

Avoid this hotel if you can! I made a reservation and, after not receiving a confirmation, called them to check whether they had it. They told me there was no reservation in my name, so I made a new one. To my surprise, when I got there, they informed me that I had two reservations. I explained the situation and they canceled one of them, but I later received an email stating that I would be charged a late cancellation fee. Immediately, I called the reception, and they assured me it was just an automated email and said I wouldn't be charged. After checking out, I started working on my expense report to get reimbursed, but when I opened the receipt emailed to me, it was just a charge for something I got from the pantry. I called them and asked them to send the actual receipt. The lady said it would arrive soon, but I didn’t receive any email. I called again and asked her to retry, which she did, all the while being extremely rude to me on the phone. I opened the attachment and discovered that it was a late cancellation fee for $171. I called again; no one picked up. After multiple unsuccessful attempts, I called their main customer care number. After one hour on the phone, the lady assured me that I would be receiving an email with a confirmation of the refund for the late fee charge and the actual receipt for my stay. I received nothing and called back an hour later. Another agent picked up. I spent two hours on the phone with her and she couldn't help me as she couldn't locate the receipt and couldn't issue a refund. In the end, she logged an internal investigation case and told me someone would get back to me within three days! I still haven't received any communication from the hotel, and I see that the corporate card was charged the cancellation fee and what I suppose is my stay, except the amount is higher than what was stated in the second email confirmation I received. I suspect they canceled the less expensive reservation. My partner even posted on LinkedIn tagging the GM and hotel account and we still received zero response. I'm going to contact the Better Business Bureau, and in the meantime, told my company internally to blacklist this hotel so no one experiences the kind of treatment I received from them. This is by far the worst stay I've ever had. It's hard to believe a business trip in the U.S. can turn into such a nightmare. I'll be talking to my credit card company too to see what can be done.

Biggest issue was that the ac didn’t work in our room. They were supposed to send someone but never did. The other thing was the mandatory valet which cost $50. And then i needed to go get something from my car after they took it. It took 30 minutes for them to get it and they were very obvious that this was an inconvenience for them

Patrick Rashad was so helpful and kind during my stay last summer. He assisted us with restaurant recommendations and places to visit. I feel Patrick would make an amazing manager for Hilton Gardens. His attitude was on point, what a great representation for Hilton!!
