"Loyal Guest with Maintenance Concerns"

We are returning guests who have stayed at the Hilton Cabana at least 10 times over the past several years. First and foremost there are great people working at this hotel including Sergaud and Wegner serving drinks and food on the beach, and Dylan at the front desk. As returning guests it is comforting to see familiar smiling faces. The Hilton Cabana is a busy hotel and it went through a renovation refresh that was very much needed. With the refresh, I give the rooms a 3.75 out of 5 rating. Not quite a 4.0 due to a few lingering cosmetic issues. However, the biggest concern during this trip was the elevator that was out service for what we understood has been out of service for more than a couple of weeks. With only 1 main elevator guests were lining up in the lobby for service during busy times, sometimes waiting for the elevator to return 3 times before being able to catch the lift. Equipment malfunctions are expected but the current outage is unacceptable. I hope that a better service plan can be developed to ensure elevator outages are resolved more quickly in the future. Points to know. Check in is at 4pm and we have received early check-in only a couple of times. The pool and beach towel distributes only 1 towel per person (I think most guests would prefer 2 towels). Breakfast buffet is adequate but pricey. The Tavern and Starbucks are easily accessible options. Parking is expensive but the valet team is courteous and helpful. The reason we keep coming back? It is the location. South Beach is a short ride south and Bal Harbour mall is a short ride north. And most importantly, the beach is a few steps a way! Give Hilton Cabana a try. You probably won’t like everything, but you will probably like enough consider it a worthwhile stay . . . If the elevators are working.

I had an incredible time at the Hilton Hotel, especially by the poolside. The service was nothing short of exceptional — attentive, friendly, and always timely. Whether it was refreshing drinks, delicious snacks, or simply a fresh towel, the staff anticipated every need with a smile. The ambiance was relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and the genuine hospitality. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a premium poolside experience!

Requested an early check in and it’s 3pm still waiting. Went to the restaurant, it was dirty and the food was expensive and not great. We haven’t even gotten our room yet. This far I am not impressed. Hopefully it gets better. Very disappointed!
