"Disappointing and Overpriced. I Would Not Recommend It"

I travel often and enjoy cultural experiences, so I was really looking forward to the Grand Wailea luau. Unfortunately, it did not live up to the price. The plated dinner was bland and forgettable, and the bar drinks were just okay. The show itself was average and lacked the energy and authenticity I have seen at other luaus on Maui. The only real standout was the fire dancer at the very end, but that brief moment did not make up for the rest of the evening. Overall, this is not worth the high cost. I would suggest choosing another luau for a better and more authentic experience.

Went on thanksgiving, Worst luau we have been to. Paid extra for premium seating. Our table was on the third row furthest table on the side no where near the middle. It was very difficult to see the entertainment. Tables near the middle in regular seating had a much better view. Our table was too wide for our family of eight we couldn’t even talk to family members across the table. Turkey was dry and shredded. A couple members of our group were late coming and when we asked if they could receive the necklaces we were given they said they were out

From the moment we arrived we were greeted with the hospitality of Aloha by receiving a seashell lai! Mary was our server and very kind and attentive. We started with a Mai Tai, enjoyed lawn games and snacks. Once the show started we were entertained with dancing, delicious food and the highlight of the show was the fire dancer. You get to watch the beautiful sunset while drinking pina coladas! We didn’t pay for premium seating and had no trouble seeing. We did add on the lobster and I would highly recommend!

"Not worth the money. Food poor and entertainment only ok."

Disappointed. Could have been a LOT better for the price. $275 each would have been much better spent at Nobu in the hotel. Food was awful, undercooked (raw) pork and awful tasting. Along with some bland rice and over cooked pasta. I can cook better and I’m a crap cook! We were really hoping for an orchid lay but were given sea shell lays.. which was disappointing. The Lū’au next door gives orchid lays! Entertainment was ok, not bad, but nothing exciting. Basically background entertainment. Had we known, we wouldn’t have booked and have just spent the money at Nobu which would have been a much better evening!

"Skip this Luau, it’s overpriced and boring!"

Disappointing and Overpriced – Skip It Currently sitting in the middle of the luau at the Grand Wailea and counting the minutes until it’s over. At $275 per person, this was a huge letdown. The food is absolutely terrible—bland, and not worth a fraction of the price. The show is slow and boring, nothing engaging or memorable. The only good part was the sunset, which we already get to enjoy daily since we’re staying on the property. Save your money and find a better luau experience elsewhere. I do not recommend this one.
