We stayed at Andaz Maui for a spectacular three-night getaway to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The valet staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel has a calm, relaxing vibe, especially as you walk down the halls and catch views of the beautiful infinity pools beyond the lobby. Check-in was smooth and efficient. As Hyatt Globalists, we were thrilled to receive a poolside suite with a semi-private plunge pool and direct access to the adults-only pool. It was wonderful to dip in and out of the water and step right into our 800 square foot suite. Upon arrival, the concierge team had left a few special treats in the room—a thoughtful gesture we truly appreciated. Beach access was very convenient, and we took full advantage of the Aquatics Center, enjoying both canoeing and paddle boarding. Beachside service was excellent; staff were always prepared to set up chairs and umbrellas for our family to enjoy Wailea Beach. One of us even took a ukulele lesson—a fun and memorable highlight. Breakfast at Ka'ana Kitchen, offered as part of the Hyatt Globalist benefits (complimentary for three adults or two adults and two children), was outstanding. The buffet featured a wide variety of options, including Hawaiian-Asian favorites like fried rice and noodles, plus a refreshing juice bar with POG, green juice, pineapple, and more. It was the perfect way to start each day. Andaz Maui exceeded our expectations—we’d return in a heartbeat and highly recommend it, especially for a special occasion.

We stayed here in the first week of December and had a great time. The pools are beautiful and amazing. The hot tub was great to enjoy in the evenings. We loved their breakfast and beach setup. The chairs get put out every morning and the staff puts them away in the afternoons. We did not get an upgrade as globalists but we still enjoyed our stay.

The Customer Service experience is bar none on the best I've had at any hotel. The hotel is showing signs of wear but that's a pretty minor nitpicky point when the Customer Service experience is so high. They went out of the way to make sure any issues I had were resolved however I did have issues and I can't give a hotel five stars when that happens. We had loud construction beeping outside of our window and the repair staff had to come to our room twice. Still these things happen at hotels so it was a delight when they handled it with such great care.

Wonderful atmosphere. Impeccable service. Initially when I saw our room, I was very concerned. It was near the restaurant and a bar area. The atmosphere here is very conducive to relaxation and quiet. The bars are not open late, they close the pools down at night. This is not where to stay if you want to drink and party all night. It is where to stay if you want a family friendly but also a peaceful stay. It is a wonderful escape. We never had an issue finding a place to sit on the beach. The workers always set us up with chairs and an umbrella. Most beach vacations feel like a competition. You have to get to the pool or beach early to ensure you have a place to sit and relax. Not here. They were busy, but it does not feel overrun.

We always love staying at the Andaz Maui. It's a dream resort. Two littles with us and we stayed in a 2queen room. Fourth time there. This time there was an issue with our first room (weird electrical hum which i can only think was coming from the giant fan outside our room - near the laundry). Staff was SO quick to move us to a great room with no issues. The resort is SO clean and welcoming. The amenities can't be beat- the pools are immaculate and never crowded. The beach is incredible. The views are insane. The classes are wonderful but sign up RIGHT AWAY for your whole stay because they fill up extremely fast. The guest laundry and Ohana lounge is a HUGE bonus- something when traveling with kids is a MUST and that a lot of high end resorts (looking at you, four seasons) don't include. The bonuses here are so huge that some of the other smaller things fall away- i.e.- the fridge is REALLY small especially when staying with kids. The breakfast is amazing but SO expensive. There are great options to eat outside the resorts for much less. We will definitely be back again and again because this location, weather, and property is a dream.
