Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea in Kihei, HI

My family of three have recently returned from an immensely enjoyable 5 nite stay at this resort. We were celebrating our babymoon and this was our first time staying at the Four Seasons brand but have stayed at other 5 star locations around the world in the past such the Maldives and Turks and Caicos. Both have been very enjoyable stays as well but doesn’t quite compare to the level of luxury and hospitality we experienced at the Four Seasons Wailea. The service here is truly unmatched. From the moment we arrived we were greeted with leis and felt totally spoiled during our entire stay. Big shout out to Jery at Duo, John at bellhop, and Annabel from house keeping for being so accommodating and showing us that true aloha spirit!! This resort was where Season 1 of the White Lotus was filmed and admittedly was one of the reasons why I wanted to stay here. It was so awesome walking the resort grounds and reliving all the memorable scenes from that show. As gorgeous as the property looked on television, it was even more impressive to witness in person. The main walkway heading down to the pool area had the most amazing view, especially during sunset. Moreover, the view from the adult infinity pool overlooking Wailea beach was also gorgeous and unmatched! All in all, in a stretch of Wailea lined with luxury resorts, The Four Seasons Maui at Wailea truly sets the standard and themselves apart from the rest by being the epitome of luxury, attention to detail, and world class service. It’s no surprise I witnessed so many people and families who choose to come back here every year. I myself am looking forward to the day my family and I get to return to this resort which holds a very special place in our hearts!!

This was our 18th stay at the FS Maui, and we still find it to be nearly perfect. There are minor issues (service by the pool being VERY spotty), but overall still paradise on earth. Our room was great, the moving of the spa upstairs was seamless, and the overall service impeccable. We also rented a car through SIXT at the hotel, and that was a great experience. Since we were only there ten days, the option of the car rental was a definite advantage for us. Love the FS Maui and will be back soon!

Such a great experience staying at the Four Seasons in Wailea! We came from staying three nights on the other side of the island and spent two nights here for Mother's Day. All the staff treated us so well from the moment we arrived to the second we left. The service here is top-notch and everyone was so friendly! We were on the Club Level, which includes a lounge and concierge service from 6AM-11PM. Adult beverages, snacks, and appetizers were all complimentary! The room was great and had a tranquil ocean view. What was most impressive was how the housekeeping staff kept it clean throughout the day. I think they may have even cleaned twice per day. The pools were very nice, especially the Adults Only Pool. And the drinks at The White Lotus Bar were delicious! Our only regret is not staying longer. We'll be back soon!

I previously visited this resort in 2022 with a girlfriend, and I was excited to go back with my husband in late January. From the moment I arrived at the Four Seasons Maui, I was reminded why this resort continues to be our favorite escape. Greeted with leis and a warm “welcome back,” the staff made my husband and I feel like cherished guests returning home. A complimentary upgrade at check-in set the tone for a stay filled with thoughtful touches and exceptional service. Service That Anticipates Every Need The staff here are truly exceptional – friendly, intuitive, and always a step ahead. Whether it was the pool staff bringing us unexpected treats or the surprise champagne to celebrate our anniversary, every detail felt personal. The valet team, especially Kai, was always ready with waters and towels. A Property That Balances Grandeur and Privacy Despite its size, the resort feels intimate. The adult pool is a serene retreat, and the beach – especially in the early morning or at sunset – feels like your own private paradise. One morning, I sat on the beach post-workout and didn’t see another soul, even with the Grand Wailea next door. The sunsets are breathtaking, with views of Lanai and Lahaina on the horizon. Refreshing lemonade in the lobby, a peaceful ocean walkway, and hidden gems like a hammock hut and croquet garden make exploring the grounds a joy. The gym is well-equipped (loved the three Peloton bikes) and staffed even in the early hours. I even tried an Next IV treatment through the spa – an unusual but fun wellness option. Rooms Designed for Comfort and Convenience Our room was beautifully decorated with more drawer space than expected and lovely views of the central gardens. The complimentary reusable water bottles and refill stations were a thoughtful touch. While the walk from the elevator was long, I preferred it for the better views. The in-room iPad made everything—from ordering food to requesting a car—seamless. It’s even equipped to help provide for any remote work needs (e.g., a monitor), though thankfully, we didn’t need it this time. Dining That Delights Breakfast at Duo was a highlight, with both buffet and à la carte options. A pancake station with a variety of options added a personal touch – don’t miss the macadamia nut pancakes with lilikoi syrup and coconut. For dinner, the Lobby Lounge was perfect for a casual first night – highly recommend the sliders and dim sum basket. Duo remains our favorite for a full dinner experience—Chad and the team delivered an outstanding meal. Final Thoughts Each visit to a Four Seasons property reveals something new, yet the warmth and excellence remain constant. Whether it’s your first time or a return trip, the Four Season Maui resort offers a blend of luxury, tranquility, and heartfelt hospitality that’s hard to match.

From the moment we arrived we received white glove service. Everyone was welcoming, the room was spacious and very comfortable with many amenities and the property in a great location. Yes it’s very expensive but I would recommend it if it’s a special occasion or you want to splurge.
