Tripster helped us find lodging, most places were sold out. We spent the day in Pigeon Forge and got to the Lodge around 9:30 PM . The Security guard was there. The front desk staff person was very helpful and explained where to park, not to leave food in the van (bears) , and exactly where to get to our rooms. We were grateful the pool stayed open until 11 PM, the girls had a great time at the pool.

"Amazing!"
April 2019
We got a King size suite and it was very clean and spacious. The staffing was immaculate and went above and beyond to help with what they could. Very relaxing environment and peaceful. We even got to know our cleaning staff and they were very friendly and respectful. It is a nice location you stay out of the business but within walking distance of everything. The pool was really nice and they even let us park our trailer as well, we will be coming back.

Tip: Check-in is at 4pm, and they are so busy that there wasn't a way for them to check in early. If you are going to arrive early go in and get a parking pass from them and just make an evening of walking until check-in much easier.

"Gatlinburg in July"
July 2018
We loved Gatlinburg! We loved the mountains, the shops, the hikes and the rides. The greatest thing is you can pick and choose what you want to do, as opposed to an amusement park where you cannot come and go for a few days. The Glenstone Lodge was great and we took full advantage of both pools. We even saw a bear when we were relaxing outside on our balcony. It was very relaxing with the stream beside the hotel and the cicadas singing in the trees. We are making plans to go back several times in the years to come.

Tip: Bring your walking shoes, there are many shops in which you walk to. There are very low cost trollies that will take you almost anywhere in town if you do not want to walk.
