"Amazing!"
April 2019
We got a King size suite and it was very clean and spacious. The staffing was immaculate and went above and beyond to help with what they could. Very relaxing environment and peaceful. We even got to know our cleaning staff and they were very friendly and respectful. It is a nice location you stay out of the business but within walking distance of everything. The pool was really nice and they even let us park our trailer as well, we will be coming back.

Tip: Check-in is at 4pm, and they are so busy that there wasn't a way for them to check in early. If you are going to arrive early go in and get a parking pass from them and just make an evening of walking until check-in much easier.

"Gatlinburg in July"
July 2018
We loved Gatlinburg! We loved the mountains, the shops, the hikes and the rides. The greatest thing is you can pick and choose what you want to do, as opposed to an amusement park where you cannot come and go for a few days. The Glenstone Lodge was great and we took full advantage of both pools. We even saw a bear when we were relaxing outside on our balcony. It was very relaxing with the stream beside the hotel and the cicadas singing in the trees. We are making plans to go back several times in the years to come.

Tip: Bring your walking shoes, there are many shops in which you walk to. There are very low cost trollies that will take you almost anywhere in town if you do not want to walk.

"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.

Place was clean and they practiced safety! But checking in seemed to not like that i had booked through a third party! Like everyone. I always look for the best deal. I didn't say anything but my wife noticed it as well. I checked the lodge website first, but found a better deal through a third party! If they would prefer for us to deal directly with them. Offer the same deal? I didn't ask for anything special etc. or looking for anything from this. Just my personal experience. But the place was clean an convenient to downtown!

I was pleased with this hotel overall but probably wouldn't stay there again. The pool area is very interesting and definitely a highlight. However, it looks to me like it USED TO be a lot more fun and then lawyers got a hold of it. I *think* that it maybe used to be a diving platform as the upper pool is 9 feet deep, and that maybe a little waterslide went through the middle of it and spat you out in the lower pool. But they turned it into a giant waterfall and put rocks in the former slide area. So now its just a very tall conversation piece. The pool area desperately needs a bar. But doesn't have one. It is open and loud until 11pm and rooms are not soundproofed at all, FYI. I'm glad its open that late, but if you have napping littles, don't pick a pool view room. The restaurant is closed. The little mini golf putting green is pretty torn up but my boys had fun with it. Only two golf balls in the whole hotel tho. I don't like the outside access for hotel rooms - much prefer inside hallway but many hotels in this area are outside access. Ventilation and humidity is an issue because of the indoor pool. Staff is really nice and doing their best during covid. Our fridge worked, my parents fridge in the adjoining room did not. The hotel overall feels like it was really fancy and swank in the 70's and has never really been updated, just maintained and fairly minimally. Again, I don't regret the choice. It wasn't awful. Just would pick somewhere else next time.

Our family enjoyed pur stay at Glenstone Lodge while in the Gatlinburg Pigeon Forge area. It is just a few blocks off the Gatlinburg strip, near the Smokey Mtn. National Park entrance. There is a pancake house and barbeque just down the street. The pool was wonderful, the kids loved it! Cleainess is VERY important to us and it met our expectations.

The property sits up on a street off the main drag of downtown Gatlinburg. Good location to walk to shops and restaurants. We really were there to go hiking in Smokey National Park and didn't want to camp! I only give it average because it does seem musty when you walk in. Also, at night, the walls seems to be thin! First night was good, second night not so much....Lots of families with kids running around. The room was very clean and so was the bathroom so can't complain with that.

"Not thrilled...."

So the Glenstone (we are here now btw 06/19/2020) looked at reviews online.... Seemed ok, no ones perfect and every individual has issues with something. Then we get here..... Let's start , no where to park when you check in, walk in the front door after driving around to find a spot. Front lobby smelled like cat pee. Staff at the front desk was great no complaints there. We get to our room, which is pool side, no issue with that. My issue is the door has so many gaps around it I'm not sure why its even on the hinges. So then we head to the pool, its busy, no big deal pools should be busy, but the pool deck... filthy, hair and muck everywhere. Pool is decent though and seemed clean. We come back to the room to clean up and take showers.... shower barely works and sprays out the sides of shower head. Ok... at this point I've had enough.... I call the front desk by pushing the front desk..... nothing didn't work. I tried pressing 0.... just rang and rang... and thats how I ended up here.... can't wait to see how we sleep when we can every word, conversation, etc from the 3rd floor due to the 1" gap at the bottom of the door.... I've attached a pic of the light coming through the door and shower head.
