"Amazing!"
April 2019
We got a King size suite and it was very clean and spacious. The staffing was immaculate and went above and beyond to help with what they could. Very relaxing environment and peaceful. We even got to know our cleaning staff and they were very friendly and respectful. It is a nice location you stay out of the business but within walking distance of everything. The pool was really nice and they even let us park our trailer as well, we will be coming back.

Tip: Check-in is at 4pm, and they are so busy that there wasn't a way for them to check in early. If you are going to arrive early go in and get a parking pass from them and just make an evening of walking until check-in much easier.

"Gatlinburg in July"
July 2018
We loved Gatlinburg! We loved the mountains, the shops, the hikes and the rides. The greatest thing is you can pick and choose what you want to do, as opposed to an amusement park where you cannot come and go for a few days. The Glenstone Lodge was great and we took full advantage of both pools. We even saw a bear when we were relaxing outside on our balcony. It was very relaxing with the stream beside the hotel and the cicadas singing in the trees. We are making plans to go back several times in the years to come.

Tip: Bring your walking shoes, there are many shops in which you walk to. There are very low cost trollies that will take you almost anywhere in town if you do not want to walk.

"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.

"Very pleasant stay"
April 2015
I took my daughter & two grandchildren, ages 6 & 8, for a 2 day stay @ Glenstone Lodge. It was awesome! Kids loved the indoor pool; queen suite was quiet (mountain view), spacious, comfortable, & clean. Staff (all of them!) were friendly & helpful! Breakfast buffet had many selections, convenient & reasonably priced. Internet was not working consistently.

Tip: Historic Trail is a couple blocks off the main drag (Parkway) in Gatlinburg. Parkway traffic was horrible so getting to the hotel takes a while.

"Not at all impressed"

Not at all impressed by the hotel. We booked the hotel as part of a package with the aquarium plus two deal through a third party. The room had an exterior door. I try to avoid these at all costs. I had a misunderstanding when informed that I would be getting an exterior room. I had thought that I would be getting an exterior view. The photos of the hotel are very misleading in this sense. The photos show views of the interior views and not the exterior. The photos of the pool are also very misleading. Not at all as pretty as actual. Hot tub is hot, but no jets. It was also a disappointment to find out that the onsite dining was closed for renovation. The third party should have been advised of this and informed us of this. The site indicates that the rooms were newly renovated. Sure didnt look like it to me. There were cracks in the ceiling. There were rips in the shower curtain, although during our one week stay, the curtain was replaced without us saying anything. I would consider the shower as some sort of hazard as there were no rails or handles to hang onto when entering and leaving the shower. There was also a lack of towel racks. The toilet ran constantly after flushing. There was not a way to really control the pressure in the shower. The door could not be shut all the way without getting stuck. The water was hot. The fridge made a lot of noise and appears to need a new filter. We had to turn off the AC unit at night as it too ran constantly and made a lot of noise. There was a good selection of channels on the TV. The hotel itself was within walking distance of just about everything. Overall, not a good place to stay. We will not be returning. Not at all impressed. Not at all worth the money, especially without the onsite dining. We had planned this trip for out 10 year anniversary and overall, the hotel was a big disappointment.

"First visit to Gatlinbutrg, TN"

Our first visit to the Gatlinburg area included a 4 day stay at theh Glenstone Lodge. The lodge is clean, quiet and the desk reps are helpful. It is within walking distance of all the shops. The restaurant is presently closed (9/2019) for renovations with plans to open in 2020. Call the lodge if you need specifics. We did not use the indoor heated, but pool, but it is lovely and very warm inside the pool area.

"Ok except extreme heat on 3rd floor with chlorine fumes"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed September 10, 2019 NEW
Lobby and pool area are beautiful, rooms are OK. Our major issue was the toxic air in the hallways of the 3rd floor. It was so bad that the staff had propped fire doors open to ventilate the area (I'm pretty sure this is against the fire code). The temperature felt like a sauna, easily 90 + degrees or more. The high temperatures (now mind you this is inside the hotel) and chlorine from the pools combined made it hard to breathe. Amazingly once you were in your room you couldn't smell the chlorine any more. I don't know if this was a one off incident or not but a serious investment in a good ventilation system is needed.

Don’t stay here. It’s disgusting. Bed linens were not changed. Smelled moldy. Can’t wrapper left on the chairs. I’d rather sleep outside. And the kitchen was closed for remodeling, but on the bright side they a coffee bar in the morning.
