"Amazing!"
April 2019
We got a King size suite and it was very clean and spacious. The staffing was immaculate and went above and beyond to help with what they could. Very relaxing environment and peaceful. We even got to know our cleaning staff and they were very friendly and respectful. It is a nice location you stay out of the business but within walking distance of everything. The pool was really nice and they even let us park our trailer as well, we will be coming back.

Tip: Check-in is at 4pm, and they are so busy that there wasn't a way for them to check in early. If you are going to arrive early go in and get a parking pass from them and just make an evening of walking until check-in much easier.

"Gatlinburg in July"
July 2018
We loved Gatlinburg! We loved the mountains, the shops, the hikes and the rides. The greatest thing is you can pick and choose what you want to do, as opposed to an amusement park where you cannot come and go for a few days. The Glenstone Lodge was great and we took full advantage of both pools. We even saw a bear when we were relaxing outside on our balcony. It was very relaxing with the stream beside the hotel and the cicadas singing in the trees. We are making plans to go back several times in the years to come.

Tip: Bring your walking shoes, there are many shops in which you walk to. There are very low cost trollies that will take you almost anywhere in town if you do not want to walk.

"Amazing Vacation Amazing Place!"
June 2016
This was our second stay at Glenstone Lodge and I must say they are very consistent. The room was clean and everything worked as it should, wifi was nice and didn't drop out or lag. It can get a little hot in the indoor pool area but it was really, nice with the waterfalls, and the deep section is separate from the shallower section. The water I side is very warm for those that do not like cold pools, however the outdoor pool was much cooler if you like that also. The staff were polite and handled all our questions even when we locked ourself out of our room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone especially if you have children.

"Fall break."
TripAdvisor user rating 4 out of 5
Reviewed October 28, 2019 NEW
We found Glenstone on Trip Advisor. The bi-level pool caught our attention. My daughter and I took 3 boys ages 5-13 for a midweek fall break trip. We actually booked directly through the front desk because we had some questions the night before our arrival. Desk clerk was very helpful and nice. Check in process the next day was smooth. Our room was on the 3rd level on the back unit facing the picnic area. The room was clean and had everything we needed. It looked like it had been recently remodeled. The bathroom was small but clean. Probably should have a fan in there to help clear any moisture after showers. That might cause some mildew issues in the future. The boys loved the pool. There were plenty of pool towels available. The restaurant is undergoing a remodel. We walked down the street for breakfast at a pancake house. There is also a trolly stop directly in front of the hotel. We loved the location and were able to avoid most of the main street in Gatlinburg by going up around and coming out at the light across from the Aquarium. Parking is a little tough if you are coming in late in the evening. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay again

Not even a motel....NO Hot Tub but DOES HAVE PUBIC HAIRS and a FLOATING SHOWER CURTAIN...Dirty, unsafe, lies...So I expect pictures to be much better than the actual property in real life but this borders fraudulent. No restaurant (as advertised), no hot tub (as advertised), MOTEL NOT HOTEL (as advertised), watered down coffee with powdered creamer ONLY served from 7-11 am, bouncing elevators that trap you and literally won't open, doors that are missing locks and when I asked about another room I was told they are all the same...and the "balcony" was the UNSTABLE SHAKING RAILING that circles the upper level...FRONT DESK SAID ALL ROOMS ARE THE SAME AND THEY WOULDN'T MOVE ME TO A CLEAN AND SAFE ROOM..i saw in person the surrounding HOTELS and even MOTELS which were all so much NICER and CLEANER... I don't even have high standards...If there's coffee and donuts I'm happy but this was next-level TRASH....Chairs on the balcony were ripped and torn... Bathroom fan didn't work and was filthy with what looked like years of dirt

"Bad Timing"
TripAdvisor user rating 3 out of 5
Reviewed October 24, 2019 NEW
We came hoping to see the leaves changing color. We paid a premium for the week we visited, but we were just a few days early. Our timing was also off because the hotel restaurant was closed for renovations. The rooms we had were adequate, but just so. The hotel staff was friendly, The vending machine prices were reasonable. The location is very good. A popular breakfast spot - the Log Cabin Pancake house - is just a few hundred feet down the street. It's across the street from a couple of churches. The downtown parkway with many of the shops and restaurants is a reasonably convenient and pleasant walk of about half a mile at most. When it rained, though, I really missed the restaurant.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and very nice and the internet worked fine and easy to connect. I was bummed the restaurant was not finished for breakfast but the staff told me about good places for breakfast nearby. I am sure it will be nice when the restaurant is all finished
