BEWARE. This property charges a $40 resort fee every day of your stay even in the dead of January. They will not waive this fee even if you used not a single service. Unresponsive management. Ridiculous charge in the dead of January when weather is freezing. You can find many other places to stay in MB off season that are less expensive and nicer. Resort fee is disclosed in tiny fine print at the bottom of the email confirmation but even this amount is wrong ($105) and does not match what you will be charged ($120) for 3 nights when freezing outside. An off season stay is nearly $200 night in January with fees. AVOID. Bad management. Does not care about their customers or Hilton loyalty. I am a loyal Hilton Honors member but having second thoughts. Have never encountered such horrible inflexible management in all my travels to 50 states and 17 countries.

BEAUTIFUL hotel. But do not be mistaken like we were. This Embassy Suites is NOT PET FRIENDLY. They said they were “Grandfathered” from the previous hotel owner so no pets. We messed up, but they were VERY gracious, we had to have engineering come and fix our heat/air conditioner. It was 90° when we got to our room. We even opened our balcony doors and it was SO hot. But hey fixed it. The restaurant was not open on a Saturday night (which I think is odd. They are happy to charge you a $40 resort fee but no on site restaurant). We did go Nextdoor to the Black Box. It was fine. And while they are NOT pet friendly, they do have good grass. Also, they are IN a private gated community. And they also charge $20 for parking (to self park). Again, IMO a fail

I paid over $200 online to book , then ended up paying $95 more once getting to the hotel for fees that I thought were covered in the initial booking .. I selected a room with oceanfront view , upon booking . Once getting to the hotel I was given a different room(1806) and was charged more , to be moved the room I thought I had already paid for upon booking (1716) . Maintenance had to open the door to the first room (1806) , he appeared to come out of a room on the same floor , but I had to wait outside the locked room for 10 minutes . The elevators are loud and shake crazily . According to the record paper in the elevator , they haven’t been looked at since April of 2023 .. Vending machine on floor 18 took 6 quarters from me , I had to use vending on floor 17 to have a water bottle that didn’t cost me $6 . Bed was made nicely , until I noticed the fitted sheet was missing , leaving me to lay on a flat sheet that was coming off the bed as I slept .. oh and there was hair in the shower drain . Making this a less than mediocre trip .

The staff at Embassy Suites were so friendly and accommodating! Meghan Sidoti, Brianna Roy, and Kaitlynn Carney were amazing. Our group never went without and they were just phone call or text away if we needed them. Already planning our next group meeting here for next year.

"Disappointing Stay for a Hilton Diamond Member"

As Hilton Diamond members, we expected a higher level of service and follow-through, but this stay fell short in several important areas. The room did not meet what was promised or confirmed. It was not south-facing as expected and was located directly outside an elevator bank, despite our stated preferences to avoid this. When this was raised, the onsite manager was not helpful and made no meaningful effort to resolve the issue, which was particularly disappointing given our loyalty status. While the hotel itself is very clean and offers excellent amenities, including great beach access and walking/running paths, the service experience—especially around dining—was inconsistent. The restaurant appeared clearly understaffed, resulting in poor service. A kids’ meal arrived cold and soggy, and overall attention to detail was lacking. New Year’s Eve was another letdown. Last call was at 10:30 pm, with no acknowledgment of the holiday or any alternative offering for guests. Additionally, learning that the hotel kitchen is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays was inconvenient and not well communicated. There was also confusion between onsite dining options: the Black Drum restaurant by the pool sent guests to the hotel bar and grill due to being full, while the hotel restaurant sent guests back to Black Drum. This lack of coordination was frustrating, especially when traveling with children. The bartenders were friendly, and the property itself has strong potential. However, for a Hilton Diamond member, the lack of service recovery, poor communication, and inability or unwillingness to address room concerns significantly impacted our stay.
