My husband and I stayed two nights at the Embassy Suites while visiting the Smokies. The hotel is new with great amenities. The property is very nice with a great pool area, fire pits, seating areas. The inside is quiet welcoming as well with a nice bar and also a coffee/ice cream shop. The ice cream is delicious! Each night guests are offered a complimentary cocktail. The breakfast area is very large with more than enough seating and many food options including made to order omelets. While the view from our room's balcony was disappointing as an honors member (overlooking the roofs of the hotel), the room itself was very clean, modern, and comfortable. However, the walls are very thin! So be prepared to hear your next door neighbors. We liked the location of the property. It's up the hill from the main drag. If you're in good shape, the walk will not be a problem. I recommend this hotel.

This hotel location couldn't be better. Very close to downtown Gatlinburg, but in a peaceful, serene setting. The landscaping is beautiful! Outdoor pool, lazy river, waterslide, hot tub and indoor pool. Corn hole, firepits, plenty of seating. My only complaint with this hotel is the pool water was cold. That was disappointing. The hot tub was perfect! The free breakfast was the best free hotel breakfast we have ever had. Made to order omelets!! They had a large selection of breakfast foods. Every evening, there are 2 free alcoholic drinks and snacks. Per adult. The bar area is gorgeous. It was a perfect hotel minus the cold pool water.

Just returned from a family weekend in Gatlinburg, August 15, 2025. I tolled over to stay at the Embassy or stay at the Margaritaville, I wish I would have stayed at the Margaritaville. Next time, we will! We stayed at the Embassy because we like staying at the hotel chain it is typically very nice without any issues. For the price that we paid for a 2-night stay, I felt I had to write a review for others, in case you are thinking about this property. 1) Location, if you plan on riding the Trolley, you have to walk to the hotel next door. The walk isn't necessarily an issue, it's the wait. If the trolley is behind then you wait in the elements, no official Trolley stop or shelter. Also, the location of this hotel isn't really within walking distance to downtown. So, options are either Troller or car, and parking is $20.00 in most areas. 2) The notorious Embassy Reception is typically worth going to, however, the food was in short supply and the bartenders that we had all weekend, where downright rude, I even gave a tip, in case that was the issue, it didn't help. Very disappointed here. These 2 bartenders need to go... 3) If you would like to have adult beverages, just bring them from home. The bartenders we had the 2 of them were just off. On Saturday night the bar closes at 10:00pm. My husband and I arrived at 9:55pm. My husband asked for a beer, the bartender through the bottle in the trash can...sounded like an explosion. I didn't order anything, I told him forget it, I'm out of the mood. Just terrible bartenders all weekend. 4) Bedding - If you like soft bedding, you will be good to go, otherwise, it's an issue. 5) Sofa in the main living area, also very uncomfortable. 6) Pool area - The lazy river only has 7 tubes, so you wait, it is very small. Also, found several used bandages along the walkway....just plain gross. Need some housekeeping in these areas.

The front desk staff, Tony, is extremely rude, unprofessional and should be fired due to his lack of unprofessionalism when dealing with customers. The staff made a billing error and refused to rectify the mistake they made. It is unfortunate that the Hilton brand would hire someone with this level of unprofessionalism and who lacks customer service skills.
