The bed was comfortable and we had two of them. One thing I greatly appreciated is than all the linens and towels were unscented. The bathroom was clean with an easy to use shower. The AC was excellent, and the size of the room and storage good. Another plus, considering we were in the heart of a city and many of us have partners that snore, is that there was a white noise machine in the room. Additionally, the tv was easy to use. We were pleased to find a variety of fresh fruit at breakfast.

The first day was amazing with a beautiful overlook of the bridge and power station, immaculate! After a long night out on the town I returned and spend the night in my room. The following morning I decided to get breakfast in the hotel. I went in and waited for a few minutes no one was physically there so I walked around looking for people and calling for anyone and no one responded. I’m diabetic so it was really important for me to grab something to eat in order to metabolize my glucose. I then walked to the front desk looking to see if I could get assistance or for someone to communicate to their staff. The lady who I spoke to said “if you wait there someone will come and attend you”. Mind you, I was in the phone with a friend and we both could hear the nasty tone she used. Prior to me approaching her she on the phone and it sounded like she was agitated. I responded with “Ma’am I have already waited for a bit” and she said “you’re just gonna have to wait” and looked at me up and down. At the moment I understand what she was trying to do and I responded I responded to her again very professionally and said “so you’re going to tell me to just wait rather than talk to your people about attending the customer” after I had already waited ideally 10-15 minutes myself. Following, I brought attention to her about her tone. I said “I was confused about your tone” and then tried to flip it saying I’m confused. I said “no I was confused about your tone and how you’re handling the situation, I understand your frustrated but that has NOTHING TO DO WITH ME” I then was abrupt and said I need to check out of my room because it was clear to me the service was poor and rather than her helping me to check out she just walked away so I checked out via HILTON APP. I went up back to my room grabbed my things saw on the elevator that if I leave a review and show the front desk I could collect 1000 points. Coming back down I asked for her name and told her exactly what I was going to do and she said the review has to be five starts. I took a picture prior because I knew she was going to lying and flip the script. I showed her exactly what the sign said and read it to her word for word. I forget her name now because I was so mad that I just wanted to leave, this lady did mention that they were in management. The valet was very kind and apologized for the service and asked if I wanted to relay back to management. This lady got off easy if my friend was there who was on the phone during this whole interaction she would have been embarrassed because the “ONLY REASON HILTON IS AROUND IS BECAUSE OF THE CUSTOMER” Where is the priority?!!?!? My friend who was on the phone was staying at a Marriott and even he said theirs ALWAYS AN ATTENDANT during breakfast. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. LASTLY, Hilton need to establish/ inform the customer that the only parking is valet parking and that was $50 nowhere on the app was I informed very upsetting experience.
