Worst experience I ever had … even they don’t provide one bottle drinking water and in midnight if u feel damn thirsty they wll ask us to go reception and buy water .. which I never experienced any star hotels and when I asked them they said it’s their policy … I booked my room on this hotel just because I had stayed in banglore before once in same group hotel fr Marriot and it was a good experience.. but in niagra it’s a waste .. I don’t recommend and it’s too far from the falls .. and the staff is not honest to the guest at all … very rude

We stayed at Courtyard by Marriott Niagara Falls, NY from Nov 6–9, 2025 for a youth hockey tournament, and our experience raised serious health and safety concerns. Upon check-in around 3:30 p.m. Nov 6, we were placed in Room 304, which smelled strongly of mold. We were moved to Room 316, but later discovered the door did not lock at all—it opened without a key. Traveling with small children, we barricade the door overnight. At 5:46 a.m. I went to report this, but there was no staff at the front desk for nearly ten minutes. When I called at 6:45 a.m., the employee said she “didn’t hear me” and offered to fix it around 8–9 a.m., which was not possible due to our game schedule. We were moved yet again at 6:56 a.m., making this our third room in less than 24 hours. The final room was still below Marriott standards — dirty blanket, dusty surfaces, falling refrigerator door which my husband just tightened the screws, and a dirty shower curtain. We also later witnessed another family being moved out of Room 316 at 9 p.m. Saturday for the same unresolved lock issue, proving it was never repaired after our report. We paid $10/day for unmonitored parking and were not informed of ongoing hotel construction, which added more disruption. Between the unsafe conditions, repeated room changes, poor service response, and sanitation issues, our stay fell far short of Marriott’s brand standards. Given the safety hazard and lack of follow-up

Mobile check-in was easy and convenient. I had a room assigned and a mobile key well before my arrival. The property is easy to reach and within walking distance of local attractions, provided you don’t mind a somewhat longer walk. The common areas were spacious and appeared well maintained. What used to be the fenced-in primary parking lot is now a construction zone, complete with the noise, dust, and debris that come with it. A sign on the door apologized for the inconvenience and explained that the disruption was due to an ongoing expansion project. However, the hotel should be more transparent and post this information on its website, as many other properties do. Had I known about the construction, I would have asked more questions or possibly chosen another hotel. Finding out upon arrival leaves few options—and I suspect that may be the reason the construction isn’t advertised. The hotel now offers parking across the street in an area that appears to lack any security and is adjacent to abandoned buildings. Please be cautious when crossing the street to the hotel; several cars did not yield to pedestrians. I don’t mind paying for parking when there’s value (such as proximity and security) but the current setup feels more like a quick cash grab. The room itself was spacious but showed clear signs of wear and tear. I might have overlooked that had the room been properly cleaned. The floor needed vacuuming; the microwave had a dried spill; surfaces were wiped down with something that left a noticeable film; the windows and TV screen were streaked; there were mosquitoes or gnats flying around; the balcony doors hadn’t been cleaned in quite some time; some lights didn’t work; and the couch cushions were placed upside down. These details, among others, gave the impression of poor housekeeping and inattentive maintenance. There is a fitness room and an indoor pool, but you must go to the front desk to gain access to the pool, an odd policy with no clear explanation. Perhaps once the expansion is complete, this property will be worth another try. For now, when I’m in Niagara, I’ll stay elsewhere. The experience simply fell short in too many areas.

"Massive Rooms & Amazing Service"

Former chocolate factory turned Marriott... pure amazing when it comes to the staff service. Like you can smell chocolate when you enter lol I'm not into industrial looking building but this one is very well appointed. It's right across from the Seneca Niagara Casino which is a huge bonus. They are expanding the hotel right now but I have to say that did nothing to negatively impact our stay. In fact they were so generous and excited about our stay the front desk even printed a whole itinerary for us to fill the three days we were there. Definitely ask for Adrienne when you are there, she's got the bubbliest personality and the cutest smile!!
