I have wanted to go to the Jazz Brunch for a long time. Unfortunately my timing for visiting the French Quarter has not worked until now. It far exceeded my expectations! If you leave here hungry it's your own damn fault! Seriously so much food! Service was absolutely wonderful. Live Jazz music playing. Sitting at a wrought iron table under interwoven crepe myrtle branches is magical. I will recommend a reservation, especially if you want to go on a weekend or near holiday. The Apple cider mimosa was incredible.

We had an absolutely wonderful Friday evening at The Court of Two Sisters in New Orleans! The food was amazing, every bite full of flavor and beautifully prepared. The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, the perfect setting for celebrating my husband’s birthday. The service was top-notch friendly, attentive, and made us feel truly special. Not a single complaint, just an unforgettable experience from start to finish. Highly recommend for any special occasion or a perfect night out in NOLA!

"Disappointing "Jazz" Brunch"
TripAdvisor user rating 2.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 07, 2025 NEW
I visited The Court of Two Sisters for their famous jazz brunch, expecting a quintessential New Orleans experience with great food, lively music, and attentive service. What a massive disappointment! First off, there was no jazz—none at all. The food was abysmal. The buffet spread looked promising at first glance, but everything was either cold, overcooked, or tasteless. The eggs Benedict were soggy and flavorless, the shrimp and grits were mushy with no seasoning, the prime rib was rubber and the pastries were stale like they'd been sitting out since the night before. Service was equally terrible. Our server was inattentive, taking forever to refill drinks or clear plates. We waited over 20 minutes just to get coffee, and the staff overall appeared disorganized and uninterested. Save your money and time; there are way better spots in the French Quarter for brunch. This place is trading on its historic name without delivering on the basics. One star, and that's generous.

"Disappointed— third visit in several decades"

The first time I ate here was in 1963, the second time was in 1983, and yesterday was the third time. The service was severely lacking, from the disinterested woman who led us to our table to the lackluster service throughout our meal. My husband had the shrimp and grits, and it was a slightly paltry serving. He said it was good. I had the fried fish with crab slaw. The fish was way too salty, and I could not discern any actual crab in this slaw. The tartar sauce was excellent. We split a house salad, which was good. House wine prices reasonable. The restaurant needs some work as far as repainting, chipped, baseboards, etc.
