Comfort Suites Near Six Flags Magic Mountain in Stevenson Ranch, CA

If there was an option for 0 stars, I’d give that. But, since there isn’t, I give a star for location. The location is good! The rooms are lacking and we had no hot water. The beds were terrible. The staff, management, and grounds are definitely lacking. Not only did we have to wait forever for anyone to acknowledge us - but, we told them upon Checkin that one of our rooms (we were with a group) was in the Emergency room and being admitted and couldn’t come and still they later refused a refund stating we didn’t specifically say ‘cancel’ - we just said they weren’t coming and were in the hospital. In writing, they stated that is the reason vs. the nonrefundable. They offered to allow them to carry the credit with the hotel and come another time instead - which was better than a kick in the pant’s (bonus point). Sadly, when that member found out they had a brain tumor and asked for a refund, while offering the medical documentation, because they clearly can’t travel with their 3 kids and 1 brain tumor, they were denied the refund again. However, what is more important to note is the attitude and disgust that came from management - it was appalling. As a corporate officer myself, if ANY of my employees acted, spoke to, and treated anyone the way management did at Comfort Suites Magic Mountain, they would simply be terminated from the company. Due to the fact that there were many interactions with the same manager and each time, no matter who he spoke to, his tone, words, and demeanor were unprofessional and inappropriate. The acts of one individual can be damaging to a company as a whole and hopefully Comfort Suites recognizes that before it is too late.

Unfortunately, my stay at Comfort Inn Suites Magic Mountain was utterly disappointing. The hot tub and pool were so murky. But even worse was the atrocious treatment from the day management. He was not just rude; he was downright disrespectful. It's a shame the younger staff members were kind and definitely much better at their chosen profession. As someone who books over 130 rooms annually for clients and their families, I know the value of good hospitality. Sadly, this hotel fell short in every possible way. The manager was utterly unhelpful, showing a blatant disregard for customer satisfaction. I never book my clients unless I have stayed at the hotel with various situations. They did not pass my stress test. I would be causing more work for myself if I booked clients here. It's clear that this establishment relies solely on its location near Magic Mountain, rather than on providing quality service. I hate to leave a negative review, but I feel obligated to warn my fellow consumers. Save yourself the headache and find accommodations elsewhere. Comfort Inn Suites Magic Mountain will not be getting my business again.

Hotel was great very accommodating. Special shout out to Mark who went above and beyond and helped us the entire trip but especially came in clutch when we got locked out of the room🤣. Give mark a RAISE!

Both queen beds in our room were unbearably uncomfortable. They need to rotate the mattresses once in a while. The wall air conditioner rattled, a horribly noisy room. My husband removed the filters in the A/C unit and they were filthy. He cleaned them in the restroom. Our previous stays were always good. Not sure why they are not maintaining the properly well anymore. I'm under the impression that it is a "smart room" wherein the A/C unit shuts off if there is not movement in the room while sleeping. I guess we need to wave our arms around while sleeping in order to sleep in a cool room. I don't think I will stay there again. Not a good night's sleep.

It could use a bit of carpet cleaning they’re on a great need of deep cleaning. I noticed when I walk into the shower that my feet was kinda muddy from walking barefooted in the carpet. Back door needs servicing badly it doesn’t close properly. Other than that I’m confortable coming
