"Good location, shower is too small"

The shower is REALLY small and the curtain blows in on you, a curved curtain rod would help a lot for this, I hated using the shower. The location is good and close to amenities. The coffee in the lobby is awful.

The location, quality of the rooms and front desk service is all excellent. Within walking distance of lots of landmarks and perfectly safe to walk around. Juberto at the hotel was really good, especially taking in a parcel I got delivered to the hotel and made sure it was in my room when I got back. Would stay again.

"Nothing Fancy but Great Location and Staff"

Stayed for summer vacation, first time in Boston. The room was rather small and could use some updating, particularly the bathroom. No real view to speak of. Buts lots of conveniences, starting with the location; we could walk to all the sites on Freedom Trail and everything from the Aquarium to North End to Boston Common. Adjoining restaurant was great for breakfast, and while I didn’t partake, it looked like a solid pub. Hotel staff were very professional and helpful. Thought the refillable water station was brilliant - easy to access and good for the environment. Smooth check-in and -out, but did have to ask twice for a reservation confirmation with my rates on it. Price was reasonable, but we didn’t have a car while staying - picked up rental at government center just a short walk away.

I read some unfavorable reviews on line so I was worried this hotel would be less than satisfactory. But over all I liked it very well! The “Superior”room was not very large but comfortable enough with a nice little kitchenette. Small bathroom with good hot water and toiletries. When I arrived the kitchenette was completely unstocked, with nary a spoon or a pot in sight, but when I called down and complained about it, within 10 minutes, someone appeared with a pot, a pan, utensils, a sponge and dish soap, microfiber towels, cups, bowls, plates, etc. There was no salt and pepper or or oil offered but at least I could heat up some oatmeal or an egg. The bed was very comfortable with good sheets and the television was decent, although I never did figure out how to sync it w my phone so that I could Chromecast my Netflix up there. I had decent light since I was on the seventh floor and great blackout curtains. I don’t know whether the rooms on the lower floors perhaps would’ve been darker. The staff at the desk were competent and helpful and the location was perfect for what I needed. (One oddity was they the maid service only comes every third day which was confusing so if you needed a brush up you might not get it before it was time to go.) But all in all, I would recommend them for a not too expensive option in that part of town. It was a good choice for me.

Location is great. Parking for a large SUV is a problem. Next door restaurant is great for breakfast. Staff did to really clean room but left extra towels. No one really uses the espresso machines in room - please replace with regular coffee make, maybe?
