"Scary and rude breakfast lady, uncomfortable beds"

We booked this hotel because we got a good deal on a last minute trip to Disneyland. Next time we will for sure pay extra and stay at a better hotel. Although our room was clean, the beds were horribly uncomfortable. It’s rough coming back from a long day at the park and laying down on a hard bed and PLASTIC pillow. That’s right, the pillows were all plastic. The elevator was broken half the time which was difficult with a stroller on the fourth floor. The front desk staff were always nice but the breakfast lady was horrible. I honestly think she had a problem with me, and I can’t figure out why. I would ask questions in English (I don’t speak Spanish) and she would reply back to me in Spanish. I understand some, but not always enough. Maybe this is why she didn’t like me? She did speak English though, because she spoke English to the front desk staff. Anyways, I asked for a plate for my bagel to which she replied in Spanish that she didn’t have any. I could see the plates, and had just seen her hand a literal stack to another family. I had to eat my bagel on a paper towel while the other family (with the breakfast lady’s permission) proceeded to use an entire loaf of the hotels bread to make lunch sandwiches for their family and pack them up for later. Along with a stack of plates. I watched them do this twice during my stay! The entire loaf of bread! Meanwhile she refused to give me a plate? It was very bizarre. I finally asked the front desk staff if I could have a plate, and the lady came running out to give me some and spoke to the front desk in perfect English that she had been getting one, did I need one or two? One morning right at 9:30 when breakfast was over my daughter was still finishing her cereal. She was sitting there eating watching tv, and the lady came up and shut it off right in my daughters face. She had maybe three bites left, I was obviously cleaning up to leave to the parks, was it necessary for her to shut it off in our faces? We didn’t come on vacation to sit there, we were leaving. It was rude to turn it off in our faces, we didn’t require her very unsubtle hint to leave. If the beds and broken things were not enough for me already not to return, the intimidating treatment from the breakfast lady definitely was!!

"Parking nightmare!!"

I really had high hopes for this hotel. Evelyn checked me in and she was very nice. My room was kinda generic. No full length mirror, or extra hooks to hang stuff in the bathrooms. It was clean, served its purpose, but the decor is kinda boring. The TV and internet worked fine (even though the signal was kinda weak). Even the breakfast is pretty decent, but it’s all carbs, mini waffles (they make them fresh) bagels, cereal, and toast. The outside walkways and elevator were on the shabby side. But this is what took away some stars. I had to work at Disney all weekend so I thought a hotel room would make things convenient. So I arrived at the hotel at about 12:30am, and ALL the parking spots were taken! The front desk person at the time, Moises, told me about the overflow lot. At first I parked behind the pho restaurant, but the overflow lot was this tiny 6 spot lot next to another hotel and that was full too!! Two other men were in the lobby asking about parking as well!! We took our own initiative and asked hotels close by if we can park there if we paid a fee. But as predicted, you have to be a guest at that hotel to park in their lot. And Moises kept killing time until finally turning to us, basically shrugging his shoulders and basically saying, “I don’t know. Figure it out.” I told him I was going upstairs to put my work stuff in my room, then drive around aimlessly at 1:30am, until I found street parking. So now I’m exhausted, frustrated, and just want to lay down and go to sleep. So I tried to use my key card for the elevator….doesn’t work. So I walk up 4 flights of stairs with all my work stuff, tried it on my room. Doesn’t work there either!! So now I’m livid. I run back down 4 flights, and tell Moises my keys weren’t working. He finally tells me his boss calls and that we can park at one of the nearby hotels. The rest of the stay was ok. Sleep quality was good, and you only hear people coming and going outside. I don’t know if I’d stay here again. I’d probably try one of the neighboring hotels that has more parking spaces.

Great rooms (suites) super clean and silent (close to a busy road, but the room we were at, we didn’t hear a thing). Super friendly hotel crew. Although I am not a fan of the “continental breakfast” they serve, it was proper, consistent quality and quantity and the lady who makes the mini-waffles is super sweet!

We loved this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. Room was updated and very clean. Housekeeping was awesome. They kept the room tidy without moving personal items around. Front desk was helpful. The fresh made Belgium Waffles were to die for. Eating area was always spotless. Shuttle right by the hotel to take us to Disney. We will definitely stay again.
