Me and my friends felt underwhelmed with the rides and mini golf the park offered. The place seemed dirty and not kept up. If you want to feel like you are in the 1980's, go to Boomers.

"Bad Birthday Party Package and Service"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

Bad experience — Don’t book their party package. I was expecting that I can enjoy the birthday party alongside my child as advertised but that didn't happen. 1. There were no attendants to check my guests in. Instead of checking off and basing the payment from my guest list, they made me wait for each guest to arrive (some of them were late), pay each time to check them in, distribute cards and put the wristbands on them myself. I even had to direct the guests where the room was, where to put their gifts and where to go in the park in general. I also lost track of the guest list and paid more than the number of wristbands needed (Boomers don't do refund) because I wanted to be part of the last hour with a host as promised. 2. There was no party host. A host is part of the package and I was tricked that there will be a host but NO host showed up! 3. I was the one monitoring if there were enough food and drinks for everyone for the entire period. I didn't get to eat and enjoy with my child. I was juggling between monitoring and ordering food and drinks at the counter (lucky if someone was there to take orders), and interacting with my guests. 4. Fifteen minutes past the food service time, I followed-up where the host was and what would the host do anyway. I was told the host was just going to assist in cutting and serving the cake. Even that did not happen. It was me and the other guests who ended up cutting and serving the cake to everyone. 5. In the end, our guests left and we just helped ourselves to take care of the rest.

"above average mini golf"

this course is one of two located in the Boomers establishment. price seemed a little steep for 18 holes, but it is California. there were options for 4 hours or all day mini golf which may have been more reasonable. the course and equipment were in reasonable shape. the rolls were true and there was some chicanery to be had. it's a popular place, so it will be crowded during prime time, leading to very slow play. "Done done and done"

Every single, it does not matter the time of day, the staff is extremely rude. Yes, it is my fault for continuing to waste my money in this establishment. Thinking hopefully it will have changed each time. Deuces Boomers, we've had enough of snarky comments and your rude staff. Money will be well spent in other fun locations.

"We Went for the MiniGolf"
TripAdvisor user rating 3.0 out of 5

In fact we went twice for the mini golf while on vacation in Southern California. Driving up, the courses looked wonderful. There are two - King Arthur's Court and the second was Pirate's Cove and because we senior citizens love to play, we were anticipating a fun time. It was fun and not crowded either visit and we did enjoy some fiercely competative rounds of golf. That said, maintenance is not wonderful. There are holes in the "greens" carpeting, places that need painting and cleaning and repetative holes - ie putting into a "hidden" receptacle which then allows the ball to fall down onto a small green. After yesterday's game, we wandered the grounds and observed the other attractions. Have to say also that the go-kart track looked awesome and the inside arcade games were being enjoyed by kids of all ages. I would definitely recommend Boomers as a fun outing for families and people of all ages who enjoy this type of entertainment.
