"Wonderful Stay!"

Mu husband and I stayed in a studio at the Bell Rock Inn for a week. We would highly recommend staying here. PROS: (1) Check-in was a breeze, it only took us a few minutes. (2) The views from the property are amazing! (3) The room was very clean and spacious. It was quiet at night and also during the day. There was an apartment size dishwasher that was clean and efficient. Plenty of dishes, a stove top and a full size refrigerator. The bed was very comfortable. (4) The staff were helpful & friendly. Every staff member we interacted with was extremely pleasant and went out of their way to be helpful. (5) The location was great. About 20 minutes from Sedona. There are numerous restaurants nearby. (6) Parking was easy and located near the entrance to the building. We never had to struggle to find a spot or walk to far out of our way. (7) The heated pool and hot tub are a must! We did not get a chance to use them until our last night. We are so glad that we did. CONS: (1) Limited drawer space. There was not really any form of a "dresser", just a drawer in each of the nightstands. There were a few hangers in the closet, but not enough for clothes for 2 people for a week. My husband used a suitcase as a dresser. (2) We did not have any streaming capabilities on our tv. We were limited to my ipad for viewing. It is my understanding that some of the other buildings have been updated and do have smart tvs. (3) There was only one grocery store nearby and it was on the more expensive side.

"Comfortable and nicely run resort"

I am pleasantly surprised by the comfort of this small resort. The surroundings are beautiful with mountains all around. The units- while not new or fresh- are very clean and comfortable. The kitchen works well. The two pools are small but heated and very clean. The free laundry is a nice amenity while on the road. All of my needs were met very well,

"Misleading and deceptive sales tactics – be very careful"

Misleading and deceptive sales tactics – be very careful I arrived at this hotel intending to book a room myself for around $75. At check-in, the manager told me I did not need to book online and offered a “special deal”: pay $10 for the room if I attended a presentation the next day. I was never clearly informed that married guests must attend the presentation together with their spouse. English is not my native language, and the meaning and consequences of this were not explained to me. The presentation was scheduled for 10:45 AM. I rearranged my entire morning with my three-year-old child, but when I arrived, I was denied entry because my husband was not present. As a result, I was forced to pay $135 for the room. In addition, a $200 deposit was charged to my card and has not been refunded. The hotel has also informed me that they are attempting to charge an additional $125. When I returned to the hotel to resolve this, staff told me they could not help and took no responsibility. This experience wasted our day in Sedona and completely ruined our trip. This feels like a deliberate bait-and-switch scheme. I feel misled and taken advantage of. I will never return here. Be extremely careful if anyone offers you a “special deal” in exchange for attending a presentation.

"Enjoyed the stay. No morning breakfast. Check on housekeeping issue."
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5
Reviewed December 11, 2025
I stayed at the Bell Rock Inn in December 2025. The Inn is well situated in Sedona and very close to a Red Rock formation, which was very scenic at different times of the day. The suite was spacious; Mattress was firm. Front desk was very friendly. The concierge was friendly and knowledgible. **There was no breakfast in the morning** **One important point. Housekeeping never came while I was there; I was solo so did not make a difference. Iasked the front desk about housekeeping and they implied one needed to stay 5 days or longer to have housekeeping.** Clearly this would not be acceptable to multiple persons in a room. So check this out before making a reservation.

"Room renter beware"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5
Reviewed November 21, 2025
The room was clean (hence the 2 stars)....that was it. We booked a room with a view -- the view we got was of the pool. Not sure what the resort fees were for, because there is NOTHING about Bell Rock Inn that resembles a resort. We were told that because we booked a week, we were put in the "newly remodeled" unit. Hmmm....the ceiling tiles in the hallway were falling in at some parts, it took 20 minutes to get hot water in the shower -- regardless of the time of day, the thermostat broke while we were out and we came back to an oven -- so that had to be fixed in the evening, the cable stopped working (day 1 was due to lightening, day 2 was due to the cable box -- so that had to be repaired), the hallway smelled old, and the fridge froze our dozen eggs and yogurt, the bed was awful and we woke with backaches every morning. There is nothing redeeming about this place. We were roped into the 90-minute timeshare talk by Concierge as soon as we checked in and quite honestly with the promise of a $250 prepaid Mastercard (or visa ... it's all a blur at this point) we were too tired to care and figured, why not, it would pay for meals while we are here. Don't make the same mistake we did -- 90 minutes in an alternate reality that was over 2 hours of being browbeaten, insulted by the rep for continuing to say "No, now is not the right time for us to do this," and all the psychological and guilt hooks you could think of. The Coup de grâce was the rep's parting words to my husband and I of "To be perfectly honest, you're the fourth couple I've dealt with today, it's been a long 8-hour day and I'm burnt. I really don't care if you buy or not at this point" -- all the while, she's slamming her items into her purse, not looking at us, huffing and saying how "done" she is. Wait for it....it gets better -- her parting comment to us was "I hope for your sake at the end of your life you don't realize what a mistake you've made by not buying this while you had time..." Excuse me???? This was just a snippet of what was said to us because evidently, how dare we say no. It's a good thing we are clinicians because we had to flip into clinical mode to get out of there emotionally intact and put on our best clinical presence to stop the experience after more than 2 hours of this nonsense. Three days later were still chewing over what had happened and complained to the management who sent out an email about our experience. That was answered by some higher up who called us and apologized -- then said the rep would be written up. That's great; however, what about all the other things that we told them was wrong with the room? Again, I ask -- what exactly was the extra resort fee for??? We're Hilton Honors members and have traveled all over, and have stayed in many Hiltons before. Honestly, how we were treated during this trip and how unrestful this room and experience was made us say goodbye to Hilton. Room renter beware.
