We where pleasantly surprised to find this place to be very roomy. Fully stocked kitchen. 3 large screen TVs. Excellent service. Clean and comfortable. We had a great view up the Red Mountains. Close to everything.

This is a motel in the vain of a low end Best Western. The location near Oak Creek Village is good. You can easily walk to Castle Rock and Bell Rock. There are really no amenities at the motel. There is TV, microwave and small refrigerator. Bathroom is very old. Really low toilet. It is just a short distance to downtown Sedona and Highway 89. If you just need a place to sleep, it not bad.

"NOT A HOTEL -- Time Share Hustle in Disguise!"

This Inn is not a hotel! It's a time share resort that rents rooms on hotel sites as a type of lead generation -- that is, they rent rooms to harvest your contact information to try to sell you a time share. This isn't a hunch or conspiracy theory. The fine print on all of Diamond's forms state that any contact information collected from guests will be used to sell time shares. My wife and I stayed here for two of four nights during a Sedona vacation. We used the Inn as a cheap crash pad for the hiking portion of our stay before moving on to a nicer bed & breakfast for lazier R&R. The hustle works as follows: the hotel collects your contact information when you check in, before they let on that this is a time share resort. They then direct you to the "concierge" opposite from the front desk for an overview of local trails and services. The concierge will try to hustle you into sitting through a two hour time share presentation. We politely declined, but the hustle didn't stop. The hotel called our room every day and left us leaflets urging us to claim our "free gift" -- and sit through the presentation. There's an additional sales attempt on check out, but they were too scared to give it to me. I spent checkout berating the receptionist until they purged my contact information from their system. Sales pitches on vacation are absolute deal breakers, and time share sales pitches are just sad. We're life long New Yorkers. We chose Sedona for our vacation as a reprieve from morons and hustlers. We were disappointed to find both at the Bell Rock Inn. Never again! With regards to the property itself: the grounds and pool were nice, but that falls apart once you head indoors. The rooms are dated (looks like they were designed and built in the 90's) and feel cheap. The bed was comfortable, but they do that gross hotel thing where they sandwich the duvet between two bed sheets instead of using a proper duvet cover -- eww. If you absolutely must stay here, use a burner email address and phone number when you check in and avoid the concierge. Unplug the phones in your room.

I prefer going to a timeshare type experience with children as the kitchen and amenities saves tons of time and money than a regular hotel, especially if going for a week. My son and I have been going to Sedona for a while and I booked too late to get into our favorite location, but this one was availble. It was clean, well maintained, and all the amenities worked. The resort appears to be a bit older and being in the Village of Oak Creek, it's always a 15 minute drive to get into and back out of Sedona. The laundry facilities are near the front desk in a separate building. The pools are small but clean and serviced. Overall, it fits the vacation needs for my son and I, but it is not an attractive resort and there were no events at this resort. We had to go to another for activities. The service was excellent and as some have mentioned, there is a timeshare sales, but most will do that. If you are looking for a more resort feel with a central location, try one of the other Diamond resorts.
