the room and the area was wonderful. the staff was greaaaatttttt, very great attitude and the contact with the staffs was perfect. The breakfast was very good especially the staffs with their service was excellent. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool area was clean and a nice size, and last but not least the parking was perfect.

The bed is comfortable as are the pillows. They left Hershey bars on the jacuzzi! Also they had little towel animals everywhere and it was just a cute touch. I have terrible allergies and I can actually sleep in this hotel the laundry detergent is not too harsh.

My husband and I are very cautious of where we stay. I had researched many places to stay in Branson that were reasonably priced. Barrington Hotel and suites was very nice for what we paid and it reserving it through reservebranson.com was a super easy. Check in was smooth and staff was very friendly! My husband and I had the Barrington on our list of possible places to stay because it had such good reviews. When I looked at the packages and the Barrington was one of the hotels offered I was so glad. Our stay was great, the whole hotel was very clean and well maintained. We didn't use the pool but my husband was impressed by it's size and how clean it was. Our room was very nice, the bed was comfortable and very clean. Our mini fridge stayed super cold and actually froze some of our canned sodas! The only thing I wish we had was more counter space in the bathroom. It had a very nice storage cabinet under the sink but not a lot of space for makeup, personal care products on the counter. Breakfast was very good and everything was well cooked and warm/hot. We will stay again when we go to back to Branson.

Tip: They have a very inviting lobby with a lovely fireplace. There are also complementary coffee, water and lemonade urns available at all hours.

This was my first time to stay here, and it was great! The room was very clean. We checked in late due to being at an afternoon show. The desk called me to make sure we sweet still coming, and that everything was ok. They were very friendly. Last, but not least, the breakfast was wonderful! We will stay there again!

While the hotel is older, it was very clean and the staff are very welcoming and professional. The beds were comfortable, the bathrooms clean, and the breakfast was good. I like the location as well. We would stay here again.

We had the best time with our stay here. Everything was super comfortable and welcoming. Breakfast was very yummy and that is something we look forward to when booking a hotel. The pool was a touch chilly but tolerable. Huge shout out to the front desk. They made our stay worth it! Alma and lily went out of their way to make us feel right at home. They were so generous to not only us but the rest of the guest as well. Our room was very comfortable. Shower was very very nice. Bed could use an update. The springs were getting a little worn but was still comfortable to sleep in. TV was great to watch at the end of the night before falling asleep. All the staff went out of their way to make everyone at home. Keep it up!!!!! We will for sure be booking again when we return.

My familily and I used a free night from Hotels.com to stay at the Barrington. On the way there, my wife decided that she wanted to stay another night, so when we arrived I asked to extend the reservation. The lady at the desk looked and found a room that was empty the next day so we wouldn't have to change rooms and off we went. The next morning at 11:00am we got a call asking when we were leaving because they needed to clean the room. I told the lady that we had extended our reservation and paid for the night. She disagreed and said the room was already booked and we had to leave. So we packed our stuff and I went to the desk to get my refund. The woman then informed me that there was no record of us paying so I showed her the transaction on my bank app, she that that it was for the first night and I informed her the first night was paid by Hotels.com. She took my phone number and told me she'd look I to it and call me in an hour. Obviously she didn't or I wouldn't be writing this. On the following Monday I disputed the charge with my bank and got my money back. Make sure you get a receipt with the dates you're staying before you leave the desk. P.S. The room was clean and the kids had fun at the pool.

My family and I visited in August. They overbooked so check-in wasn't done in a professional manner by a lady whose name starts with an A. Upon arrival, two other employees at the front desk were friendly and one in particular was trying to get us a room. I saw many papers with people’s names on them for rooms that were ready, but the lady couldn't find mine. She apologized, had me sign the hotel form, and was about to assign me a room. You could tell she was a bit flustered because Ms. A didn't assign all the reservations a room yet. Next thing you know, Ms. A comes out and was rude to her in front of the other employee and guests. The employee was embarrassed but didn't say anything. After, Ms. A had us go into her office opposite the desk. By then I was upset and informed her that it was 2 hours after check-in, and she should have had a room ready by now. She snapped at me with an attitude and said, "Well do you want the room or not, or do you want another hotel? "(power trip). Due to being with my family, of course, I said I want a room. Ms. A tried to be nice after that, but it was too late. As head lady of the two others, she needs to be retrained on how to react when a customer is not happy with her service and how to treat her colleagues. A simple apology would have been enough when I made my comment. She never apologized. I had to sign the hotel form again. Then we finally received the handy cap room that had some issues: no tissues, hair on bathroom wall, dried pepperoni on the floor, bent toilet paper holder, non-working mini fridge, and holes in the curtain. After we were in our room for a while, I received a phone call from the hotel asking when we would arrive at the hotel so they could have our room ready. I informed them that we were already in our room at the hotel. Let's just say I learned my lesson on booking early so I won't have to resort to staying at this hotel again.

Under new management, this place has made great strides in the past year. This is my 6th stay. The side entry door security has finally been repaired as well as restricted access to the pool, new bedding is on the beds, new chairs in the rooms, they have a social hour in the evenings, pool was CLEAN, but hot tub was not working. The toilet in my room appeared to not have been scrubbed a while; other than that, the room & bathroom was nice & clean. Breakfast menu has also improved. If it wasn't for the hot tub issue the ring around the toilet bowl, I'd rate it 5. Improvements that could be made are to fix the hot tub and have better discounts for returning guests. I get a discount rate for having stayed multiple times but with all the improvements mentioned above, they've also increased their rates. I don't recall ever been offered a free night's stay. The one thing this place lacks is incentives The only incentive that keeps me going back is it's a VERY nice hotel that's still fairly affordable to me but incentives acknowledging frequent guest stays would be nice too.

We visited Branson for quick trip prior to the start of the school year. The Barrington was clean, in a good location, and affordable. The primary feature is the friendliness of the staff. Alma at the front desk was friendly and attentive. Jesse and Lainy in the breakfast room were hardworking and welcoming.
