"A great park with good rides and history "

I have been looking forward to checking this park out for awhile and I'm so happy that I finally got to visit. I had so much fun. The coasters were all great, the newly renovated Underground was probably my favorite since I rode it more than once. I missed a few flat rides but I got a lot of photos since I walked around the park and saw a lot of signs that I loved. I was there with a group and we had the opportunity to have a history tour which was very helpful for someone like me that has never been there before but knew about some of the history of the coasters for example. It was a lot of fun, it was bigger than I expected. It has some live entertainment, I met the mascot, things like that makes a park really fun. I would recommend if you are in the area to spend a day here, I will certainly return if I return to that area and visit again.

"Unfriendly, overpriced, and crowded"

I’ve been going to this park since it opened; I attended as a teenager; I took my children there many times, and I’ve taken grandchildren there. Since new management took over, the only positive thing I have to say is it looks nice. The staff is unfriendly and rude starting at the entrance and throughout the park. My food was outrageously priced and the burger was charred black. Condiments were all empty and the condiment table was filthy. All rides are run by young people who appear to be no more than 14 and 15. They ask yo to leave personal belongings in baskets that are not carefully monitored. My grandkids all said they thought the State Fair was much better. This is definitely not the family- friendly environment and atmosphere it was in the past. I live in Altoona and will not return… I’d recommend driving to Waterloo to Lost Island.
