On the NFR site, the Know Before You Go segment shows 2024 dates…how much other info is wrong, I wonder?
They also say the food vendors are ‘cashless” – is that true for 2025? If so, I’m not going.
Being ‘cashless’ is discrimination!
Totally fair questions, and yep, the NFR site showing 2024 info is confusing.
As for the cashless vendors, in 2024 food spots were card-only, and while 2025 isn’t officially confirmed yet, it’s likely to stay that way. We get that’s frustrating, especially if cash is your go-to, and we’ll post updates the moment anything changes.
I agree. By law, cash is supposed to always be accepted, but going cashless let’s big bro keep complete tabs on us. If we go cashless, our privacy is gone. I hate the fact that this is supported by the NFR.
Are there any provisions for handicap like electric carts like they have at Costco and Walmart? What about wheelchairs?
Great question! The Las Vegas Convention Center, where Cowboy Christmas is held, is wheelchair accessible and offers support for mobility needs.
While they don’t provide electric carts like you’d see at Costco or Walmart, wheelchairs and electric scooters (ECVs) are available to rent on-site through their FedEx Office, located in the Central Hall lobby. For peace of mind, many visitors prefer to reserve in advance through companies like Scootaround
, which delivers directly to the convention center or your hotel.
For the most up-to-date accessibility info or to speak directly with someone at the venue, you can contact the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority ADA Information line at 702‑892‑0711.
