About SIX the Musical Broadway

Blessed by a book, music, and lyrics by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, this British musical was first performed at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2017 by students from Cambridge University. The premiere at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe was widely popular and caught the attention of producers Kenny Wax, George Stiles, and Wendy and Andy Barnes.

By 2019 SIX would experience its official opening night on London’s West End. SIX would eventually find its home on Broadway at the Lena Horne Theatre (previously known as the Brooks Atkinson Theatre) in 2020. After closure for the pandemic, the SIX Broadway cast returned in all their glory to bring the stories of Anna of Cleves, Jane Seymour, and more to life.

The show won two Tony awards in 2022, including Best Original Score, and is now embarking on a full North American Tour. Lovers of the groovy soundtrack can ‘Get Down’ to dazzling bops such as ‘Don’t Lose Your Head’ and ‘Heart of Stone’ by downloading the cast album on Spotify.
