Tripster Integrates with Gateway Ticketing Systems Platform, Galaxy Connect

Featuring Direct-to-Gate Reservation Fulfillment

St. Louis, Missouri – June 6, 2017 –Tripster, a destination-specific, vacation planning and booking service showcasing more than 700 shows, attractions, theme parks, amusements, activities and tours across 15 popular U.S. markets, today deployed final integration with Galaxy Connect™, an innovative technology offered by Gateway Ticketing Systems®. This cloud-based platform streamlines the reservation path for travel suppliers by dynamically managing availability, delivering bookings and ticket redemption.  At the same time, consumers benefit from instant and reliable confirmation, as well as direct-to-gate e-tickets.

“With our continued expansion into new markets, we discovered more and more attractions using Gateway solutions,” stated John Johnson, President of Tripster.  “We have successfully worked with Gateway products for a number of years and we are excited to be a part of their new cloud-based integration solution.”

Headquartered in Pennsylvania, Gateway has developed and provided ticketing solution software in the attractions segment for nearly 30 years.  These solutions include onsite and online ticketing, admission control, retail and food & beverage sales, and customer relationship management, among many other related services.   Last year, Gateway launched its  cloud-based platform, Galaxy Connect, which enables attractions to more effectively contract and distribute its tickets to third-party resellers, such as Tripster.

“It’s great to have a partner like Reserve Direct  as an early adopter of Galaxy Connect since they feature many of our clients in the destinations they serve,” expressed Scott Lobaugh, Gateway’s Director of Business Development.  “The partnership allows our mutual supplier partners to provide direct-to-gate experience to the end customers while alleviating the operational costs of voucher redemption.”

This marks the third major integration project for Tripster in the past 12 months, including its integrations with tour and activity provider, FareHarbor, and hospitality solutions provider, Sabre.  As a one-stop-shop for vacation packaging, Tripster works to bring together multiple platforms into a single booking path for the consumer.  With that, the company anticipates more connectivity development in the near future.
