Explore the 160-acre working homestead where Harold Bell Wright's famous Shepherd of the Hills was penned! Enjoy a ride in an open-air Jeep-drawn tram as you stop to visit the Old Matt's Cabin, Inspiration Point, The Morgan Community Church, and more. This historical tour across the beautiful landscape he so vividly described is led by an Ozark-native guide.

Shepherd of the Hills Vigilante Ziprider

Launch from Inspiration Tower’s 140-foot open-air deck and soar ½ mile across the treetops on Shepherd of the Hill's Vigilante Extreme ZipRider. You’ll take the glass elevators up to the enclosed observation deck, then a short staircase down to the open-air deck, followed by a rushing zipline-style thrill ride across the 160-acre homestead at up to 55 mph.

Shepherd of the Hills Outdoor Drama

Experience the nation’s longest-running outdoor drama! The Shepherd of the Hills is an action-packed live reenactment of Harold Bell Wright’s novel about life in the rugged Ozarks with themes of love, power and hardship. Over 90 actors and live animals perform on a stage the size of a football field. Pre-Show (add-on) includes a BBQ & Bluegrass Bash.
