My story with Westgate started last year when I accepted a “90 minutes” (it lasted like 4 hours) presentation for a timesharing opportunity for SeaWorld discount tickets. As a summary of that presentation, it had the most aggressive and hostile sales tactics I ever experienced. Is like they are trained don’t accept a “NO” for an answer. That day they offered me a “discounted week” vacation as a “token” of appreciation to be paid and/or used within the next two years. I took it just to finally leave the orientation since like I said they don’t take “NO” for an answer. So, finally I booked my week for Jun 28th – Jul 5th . The 1st surprise, I had to pay an extra $200 because it was High Season, something they didn’t warn me the day I sign up for the “discounted week” vacation. 2nd surprise, it was a studio with only two double beds for a family of four. On Tuesday July 1st I received a call from Westgate telling me that I needed to sign some documents related to my stay, that only would take 10 minutes tops. The next morning, I asked for the contact person to sign the documents and understand why I was there. So, there I was, receiving the same aggressive and hostile sales tactics trying to sell me again the Timesharing. And like I said, they’re training in not accepting a NO for an answer. So, since I stand in my position not wanting the buy these people started being rude to me and my family basically and telling me that they were losing money by letting us stay there (like this was a gift). So, something that was supposed to take 10 minutes tops, it took almost 2 hours. My family and I ended up leaving the place without telling anyone, while they were looking for another selling person. So, please avoid at all costs this timeshare experience (at least with Westgate) if you don’t want to ruin your vacations. Regarding the review of my stay, the studio looked renovated but very small (smaller than a hotel room), the bathroom looked great. However, I got all the smells from the villa next to us, if they smoke, we get the smell, if they cooked, we got the smells. Also, and for us was a deal breaker, there are no housekeeping services. You need to call the front desk asking for towels, toilet paper, blankets, etc. One day we called them for towels at 10am and ended up receiving them by 9pm. Also, there’s no cleaning in your room or bathroom on your entire stay. As summary, the worst experience ever, by the way, we ended up checking out one day before our checking out date. And, this is for Westgate, your personnel ask me why I didn’t like to have vacations on a 5 stars resort, well let me tell you, YOU’RE NOT A 5 STAR RESORT!!! If you decide to book with this resort avoid two things: studio rooms and TIMESHARING PRESENTATION. You’ll remember this review if you do any of these things.

We stayed here in June through the Armed Forces Vacation Club. We rented a 2 bedroom condo. We were allowed early check in at 12. That was a pleasant surprise and a great start to our vacation. The condo was awesome. The best I have stayed in. It had a full kitchen - very modern and updated. It had a stackable washer and dryer in the closet in the kitchen. A full size dining room and living room. A nice screened in balcony. The master bedroom had a king bed, with an attached bath and the biggest shower I have ever seen in a condo. It could have held the whole family. The whole bathroom was huge. There was a safe in the closet. The second bedroom had two full/queen beds and its own attached bath with a tub. The resort is large and had 13 swimming pools. So no matter where you stay there is a pool nearby. Also had tennis courts, miniature golf and a small waterpark priced at $25 a day. I thought that was a lot until I checked the big water parks in the area which are all over $100 a day. This water park at the resort is small and would be great for small children (under 10). Not great for teenagers. We were allowed to check in early because our condo was ready. At check in the held $50 as a deposit. We did not pay a resort fee. Then we were taken to the next counter which is where they try to get you to attend a VIP breakfast and offer lots of discounted tickets. I let the guy talk for a few minutes. Then I told him we were not buying a time share. He immediately stopped talking and we left. There were a lot of people there doing the time share meetings but once I said no, they left us alone. The have one road into the resort with security. This was always crowded since it has a traffic circle just before the gate. The resort is close to Walmart. But this Walmart is the most crowded I have ever seen. There is a Target and another Walmart not too far from there. The Walmart close to the resort is where every Disney guest goes to get souvenirs. They have a great selection. On the last day of our visit we came back to the condo around 5 to find out our air conditioner was not working. I called the front desk and they had someone at the condo in about an hour. When he couldn't fix it they called in someone else who realized that the group that had been putting down mulch that morning had cut the wires on the AC unit. He had it back up and running is about an hour.

BEAUTIFUL VILLAS RESORT IN KISSIMME Westgate Vacation Villas Resort in Kissimme- a family resort, with lagoon view, great views , beautiful Villas, excellent pool 🎱 well presented area, all rooms is great, spacious bedding, proximate well design, beautiful resorta lot of equipment, many things to do, good for a walk all around the resort, stunning lake views, & great facilities, great bonding for family or someone to date!
