"From Mystic Dunes to Mystic Mold!"

The hotel suite smells badly. We found mold in the bathroom. The sofa has disgusting stains. The management refused to give me a full refund. We only spent one night at this hell hotel. It almost ruined our vacation. Stay away! It should be called Mystic Mold. Customer service is terrible because I have to fight for a refund.

"Best Resort Ever With AAA+++ 100% Staff"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5
Reviewed August 19, 2025 NEW
This is the resort to stay at in the Orlando area, not only because it has it all, but also because of the amazing, kind, considerate and professional guest care you receive from each and every staff member! Many of the buildings have been newly renovated (gorgeous blue/crème décor) and include full kitchens, separate bedrooms, and balconies/patios. The resort also boasts a golf course, full-service restaurant (that provides room service!), 5 pools (1 with slide & tiki bar, all others with kids’ splash pads), tennis & basketball courts, bikes, mini golf, amazing gym, and beautiful landscaped grounds. We have stayed here many times, but this time it was different as we chose this resort for me to recuperate from hip and knee replacement surgery. I must give shout-outs to many of the staff that have made my recuperation wonderful! From before check-in, Manager Nadine, Supervisors Jadelyn, Naomi, Lillian and front desk staff Bouchra ensured that we were scheduled for our preferred room and were able to check-in a bit early. Bouchra especially replied to all emails, texts, and phone calls, answering questions, confirming requests, and updating reservations, (with Managers Brittan and Cora) and came by a few days after my surgery with a gift basket of snacks and bouquet of flowers! Nora was always kind and efficient when we extended our stay and switched key cards. Dukay (maintenance bldg. 19) often said “hi, how are you” and he ensured that the sidewalks outside our unit were clean, particularly after heavy rains, as he knew I was using a walker to get around after the surgeries. (And he always waved when he passed by and saw me at the table when our curtains were open.) Other maintenance staff Armando, Alexi, Francis, and Oliver stopped their carts to enquire about my surgery and recuperation and always waved and said hi when they saw me. Housekeeping staff Ricardo went out of his way to get extra toilet paper for us, and Diego and Jose (who drive the housekeeping van) always wave and say hi. Once I was cleared to swim, I used the handicap chair to get into the Courtyard pool and Milady & Paula who happened to be painting at the Courtyard pool, called Supervisor Tony as the chair was not working. Almost immediately Tony and Jose (who always keeps the pool clean and nicely warm!) came to the pool & quickly fixed the chair. Pool maintenance Belkie and Carlos always say hi and stop to chat as they can about how I’m doing. Landscaping was completely re-done at the Courtyard pool and Julio also stopped his work for a bit to chat. And engineering staff Nelson with Francisco were jumping a guest’s car, and took a minute to ask about my surgery as I walked by; and Security Stephanie & Maria open the gates for us whenever we drive into the complex. As always, cannot forget the staff: Bouchra, Chaieny, Jaliyah, Lori, Mairim, Nora and Patricia who immediately answer texts and ensure that we have everything that we request. This resort is full of wonderful staff that is so so kind, in addition to very professional, and extremely competent and we thank them very much for their incredible guest care that is fostered and encouraged by Resort Manager Manuel.

The rooms are nice. Beautiful property. VERY VERY pushy to get you to keep investing in timeshares. While we were there someone pooped in the main pool so they closed it for cleaning and did not keep another pool open past 8pm to compensate. The pools are only for owners before 1pm. Don't come here expecting a nice vacation if you are not already an owner of a timeshare here. They really want you to want the extras but they aren't that great once you get them. Most of the working staff was awesome. The sales lady who you get a parking pass from will make you and your wife fight all weekend and ruin your trip.

"affordable - but you get what you pay for"

We had a recent one-night stay in a 3 Bedroom Plus 1 king 3 queen suite. First, this turned out not to be a 3-bedroom at all but a two-bedroom unit with a connected foyer to another 1-bedroom unit. This was not clear to me on the Hilton website, and when I seemed surprised by this at check-in in I was told, "Well that is what you booked." Our room did not at all match the pictures on the website and needed an update. Pro The kitchen had all the items we needed. Affordable stay Close to Disney ( 10 min) Large units Con The slide at the main pool was an actual hazard. The kids had to crawl out of the tube because they all got stuck. The pool was overcrowded and not very clean. The grills were not in very good working order ( only half of each grill worked) One set of bathroom towels had bugs in it.

This stay was frustrating from the start. We requested side-by-side rooms over 3 months in advance because we had two large families traveling together, including elderly and handicapped relatives. Instead, we were placed in Rooms 22101 and 22106—not next to each other, which made it hard to coordinate and assist one another. My father attended the “owner update,” which started 30 minutes late because the rep was unprepared. What should’ve been a quick session turned into a 2.5-hour ordeal, filled with pressure and pushy sales tactics. He wasn’t interested in buying, but they brought over a manager who also wouldn’t listen. By the time he got out, our group had missed dinner reservations and had to scramble to make new plans. All because Hilton didn’t honor the time they committed to and we had to wait for my father to get back. One of the worst moments came when my sister stepped outside the room with a beer in her hand on July 5th. A female sales rep walked by, looked at her, and said sarcastically, “Oh, a Corona? I thought the 4th of July was yesterday.” We didn’t find it funny—it came off rude and judgmental. It was her birthday. We’re adults on vacation, not causing trouble. If there’s a no-drinks-outside rule, we didn’t see it posted. On top of all that, the room A/C was locked at 69°F, but the temperature never dropped below 72°F. We had to buy fans just to get through the nights. Between the heat, poor service, and disrespectful staff, this place was a letdown. The resort’s location isn’t even that convenient to the parks. Definitely not the Hilton quality we expected. I wouldn’t recommend.
