"Bed Bugs not addressed, no compensation for time and money lost."

I woke up 2 mornings in a row with bites all over the back of my legs. They came and inspected the room for bed bugs and left it torn up, returned from the park in the afternoon and it was still a mess, The said they found no bed bugs, had to wait 30 minutes to talk to someone about it, then another hour and a half for them to clean the room. Next morning I woke up with more bites on my feet and legs. This time I knew 100% it was coming from the bed as I was in thick shoes all day the day before, and I had one on my foot. They searched the room again and acted like I was being ridiculous for still talking about being eaten alive in my bed at night, they only offered to change the room, no refund, no compensation for the hours of disrupted trip time, and with how expensive being in the parks is, ever minute you lose is so frustrating. And no compensation for the hours I am going to have to put in washing all our clothes, and new toys for my little on, that she just bought for her birthday, having to be washed while I hold my breath they don’t fall apart. Not to mention the new 100$ princess dress that can’t be washed, so now what? Throw it away? I’m so disappointed in Disney with this trip. We have been staying on site for 16 years, and at pop century 3 times. I also asked them if they will just put someone else in the infested room and the answer was yes. They will change the sheets, and let someone else sleep in the bed bugs.

Once again a great stay at this motel. Staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Just to note the staff at the dining hall were great. Also the staff that man’s the skyliner at the resort were very friendly too. The room was clean and well stocked with supplies in the shower/bathroom. The pools were all clean and not overly crowded. The grounds were always nicely kept too. Great place for kids to play.

"very basic with some of the disney magic and lots of disney cost!!"

Reserved two rooms with upgrade through Disney. over 1400$ for 2 nights. Awesome check in early use skyline to Epcot. Skyline awesome until it breaks down. Disney employees spot on moving line to bus down below curbside. Rude idiots ruin by sneaking into line after counts ruining it for all. Text when rooms ready @3pm. We loved the location but horrible long walks to parking with luggage carts hard to procure. **+ rooms coffee maker and fridge gets +. Pillows great beds OK. Bathrooms **** with pockets doors so more than one can use at a time. Trouble is NOISE!!! Every toilet flush above or next door woke me. Staff is best can be. Pools great. Cafeteria OK. Bus to Kingdom, Animal and Springs efficient. TOO MANY W/C and mobility cart people really slow down the bus service. The over fed and overgrown ones just gross. The parks are just too crowded even on week days. Waits 60-90+ minutes for every ride. Lightning pass people zip by but by weekend even they waiting! Just enforces to kids money is everything in this society. SOO WRONG. Years ago we stay at Contemporary or Florribean and thought a little expensive. Now OUTRAGEOUS expensive. 7$ for coke. REALLY. 14$ for mini corn dogs really. WE WILL NOT BE BACK!!! Take your kids on Royal Carribean cruise much better value and NO Stress compared to this.

"Decent stay"

We traveled at the end of March- start of April for 5 nights. Stayed in adjoining queen rooms, selected the pool view rooms. We were given pretty good location, not far from the main food court area, bus stops and sky liner. The room was a good size and clean. We didn’t have any bug or cleanliness issues. The walls are thin but we didn’t have any problems - we were on the 3 rd floor. Had we stayed on the resort we may have been disturbed by noise if in the room. The rooms are cleaned every other day but they were good about leaving additional items as requested, and taking out the rubbish. Queues of the busses and sky liner gets long very early so plan your time well. We had breakfast in the food court in our check out day and it was not nice. I wouldn’t recommend it. It may be cheaper than other resorts (not sure) but it was not worth the quality of food you are getting. Other days we quick breakfasts in our room (instant porridge etc) since there was limited time so early in the morning. Good value resort for those wanting to take advantage of the park transportation and early entry which is the only reason why we stayed. I wouldn’t recommend recommend and go again if I had the same budget allocated for hotels. We did not rent a car.

"Best first stay at Disney!"
TripAdvisor user rating 5.0 out of 5

First trip to Disney as an adult (previous trip ages 11 years old- now 30!) and Pop was the best hotel for us- access to the sky liner is amazing! Even when the queue looks long, it’s the best way to get to the parks in my opinion! Busses come very regularly especially in the morning/park open and close. Hotel was clean, rooms were a great size for the 2 of us, only complaint would be the food hall closing at 11pm as it would be nice to have access following fire works/late night at the parks. Uber to universal was $27 and to SeaWorld $25. Will defo be back!
