"AirPods stolen by staff"
TripAdvisor user rating 1.0 out of 5

This hotel is super clean and the location is extremely convenient. The HUGE issue that we have is that my friends AirPod Pros, that she just purchased for $250, were stolen from our hotel room just hours after check in by the person who delivered our bags to the room. We reported it to security and they came out to hear what happened. They said the “can’t really do anything” even though we were tracking the location of the AirPods. My friend said she just wanted to be reimbursed for them. They told us we could file a police report and that they would “work with police” during their investigation. It is a huge disappointment, especially from Disney which is known for their customer service. We are really disappointed and feeling a major breakdown in our trust with Disney. It is very unsettling that 1. Someone can come in our room without us knowing 2. Someone can take things from our room without our knowledge. 3. Disney doesn’t do anything about it but say sorry and tell us we have the option to file a police report We won’t be staying here again and have honestly lost trust in Disney hotels.

"Overall a Good Experience"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5

Overall this was a good experience. The room was cozy (small) but my children are young and it was 2 adults. We had plenty of storage for our luggage under the bed, in the drawers, in the bathroom, and "closet". It is truly a value resort and there are not a ton of room amenities, but some services are available on property (laundry, dining, etc.) The property is huge and there are a lot of buildings, very confusing for a first timer. Luckily, a wonderful staff member helped us directly to our room and explained the layout and where everything was. We had great quick access to the bus (to Magic Kingdom) and great access to the Skyliner (to Hollywood Studios and Epcot). The Skyliner was a highlight for the kids to see which character was on our gondola and we were able to watch the fireworks from MK and Epcot on the way back to Pop! THE SKYLINER IS A MAJOR PERK OF POP! The theming and atmosphere of the resort are what you would expect. Kind of cheesy, a little "dated" on the outside, but the rooms were simply themed and the updated dining and shopping areas were good. It was very busy during our stay and there was minimal noise level for such a large resort with so many people. Like I said earlier the overall experience was good, I did not give it 5 stars for two reasons. 1. Cleanliness. The room overall was clean. However, in the shower there were some places that appeared to be overlooked. The tile in the shower had some soap residue (I noticed on the first night we were there), the removable shower had had some mildew where the shower head rested and around the soap dispensers had some mildew. 2. The dining... while I understand the resort is serving MASS quantities of food and it is convenient I was unimpressed by the offerings. Luckily my young kids are not picky about their pizza, but I tried and bite and it was less than average. I tried the beef and veggie stir-fry and it was not good, I stopped eating early on in the meal. The mojo-roasted chicken was good. The meatballs and pasta were okay. I know this is a value resort and the food is there for convenience, but coming from a name like Disney, I expected a little more and better offerings.

"Nice Basic Stay"
TripAdvisor user rating 4.0 out of 5
Reviewed February 07, 2026 NEW
I stayed here with my husband the beginning of September. We wanted to not spend a lot of money on our accommodations as we knew we’d basically be in the park from morning until evening. This was our first value resort in Disney. We got a good deal - I think it was 30% off. I’m in a community group for Pop and it is very highly recommended. All the workers we dealt with here were helpful and friendly. The room was very clean. Transportation was great. We loved the skyliner. Pool was just ok. It was cold. We didn’t have any meals here so can’t comment on that. Rooms were quiet but I’m pretty sure no one was above us or next door so we lucked out with that (we had a standard room). What I didn’t love was the size of the resort and I felt a confusing layout. There were upgrades going on and sometimes the route to where we needed to go was closed and that added on more walking. I forget if it’s called hey Mickey or hey Disney - the equipment in the room that you are supposed to use if you need anything. Well the first time we used it was great! After that it didn’t work and we would have to stop off in the main building for things (extra towels, coffee etc). Overall we enjoyed our stay but not sure if we’d come back. Maybe if we got a good deal and really only needed the room for sleeping and showering.
