Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge is a family-friendly resort located in Lake Buena Vista's Maingate West neighborhood, close to Disney's Animal Kingdom®, Blizzard Beach, and Disney's Hollywood Studios™. Additional points of interest include Wide World of Sports and Disney's Boardwalk.

Dining options at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge include 3 restaurants. A poolside bar and a bar/lounge are open for drinks. Room service is available 24 hours a day. Recreational amenities include an outdoor pool, a children's pool, a health club, a sauna, and a steam room. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. Business services and tour/ticket assistance are available. Additional property amenities include a coffee shop/café, a concierge desk, and a children's club. This is a smoke-free property.

The guestrooms at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge feature iPod docking stations and coffee/tea makers. All accommodations have patios. Refrigerators and microwaves are offered. Bathrooms feature complimentary toiletries and hair dryers. Wireless Internet access is complimentary. In addition to desks and complimentary weekday newspapers, guestrooms offer multi-line phones with voice mail, as well as free local calls (restrictions may apply). Televisions have satellite channels. Rooms also include safes and ceiling fans. Guests may request in-room massages, extra towels/bedding, and wake-up calls. Housekeeping is available daily.

You must present a photo ID when checking in. Your credit card is charged at the time you book. Bed type and smoking preferences are not guaranteed. Your reservation is prepaid and is guaranteed for late arrival. The total charge includes all room charges and taxes, as well as fees for access and booking. Any incidental charges such as phone calls, and room service will be handled directly between you and the property.

We recently stayed in Animal Kingdom lodge for our Disney trip - wow! What a stunning hotel! We were upgraded to a Savannah view which was a wonderful bit of Disney magic - and it made the trip! Having a balcony and being able to watch the animals from our own room was amazing! We only did a short trip so Disney tickets were expensive but this hotel was an amazing experience and worth every penny. We have stayed in a number of other Disney resort hotels before but this was by far our favourite! Lobby was beautiful, lots of little details in the decor everywhere that added to the Disney magic. The pool area at jambo house was great, our daughter enjoyed it! We are in Boma for breakfast which was excellent. The quick service restaurant was ok, but limited choices that were same daily (no pasta for kids). All the staff were excellent and couldn’t have been more helpful. I would 100% stay here again and I recommend if the budget allows to do the Savannah view as this was definitely the most special bit about staying here. Rooms were also very lovely and comfortable.

This is not a deluxe hotel - at 6am every day they use super loud machine to clean pool deck. There are probably 100 rooms impacted by massive noise at 6am daily. Woke us up every day. - very few umbrellas for shade by pool. This is absurd. At Grand CA pool in Disneyland - nearly every chair has umbrellas if you want shade. Almost NO shade here for adults to sit by pool. - bus service was very slow for us - we waited more than 20 minutes several times so gave up and used Uber instead for the rest of our stay. the lobby is beautiful and this hotel has a lot of potential. Beds are good. Restaurants are good but the Mara is kind of messy and the drink stations don’t work. Ice often gone. No unsweetened tea even though it’s supposed to be there. Drinks run out - like hot chocolate is just water and they don’t check it so you have to go tell them. Employees are great of course but they seem overworked at the Mara. It’s a good mid tier hotel but definitely not deluxe. I am not a Disney World expert but all the Disneyland hotels are way better than this hotel.

I travel in farafenni and spend night at moneberic Lodge around the fire 🔥 service station I sleep in a room with air conditioning with the price of D800 per night per room I recommend travellers who are looking for a place to sleep in farafenni please contact vybz a very good and experienced person I recommend to stay with vybz and all your needs will be solved please if you need him WhatsApp him with this number +220 2854159 that's he's WhatsApp just tell him that your friend soldier that's my name tell him soldier direct me to you and you will get discount for D700 room with air conditioning

Rude staff. Not friendly or helpful . Issue with items being taken by housekeeping and staff are unhelpful with this with no update despite returning back to the hotel within a few hours and calling them repeatedly. Advised to file police report and known items were in room and staff from housekeeping were the only people who had been in the room. Service offered in response to this was appalling and very sad to spoil a families holiday . Communication needs improving and staff needs have to be considered as staff are miserable and unhelpful. I would expect more of any hotel staff despite a huge amount of effort in taxis back and forth to oversee the lost:stolen item process and repeated calls to be told they’d put me through to the legal team to spend more time of my holiday dealing with their issues with their own staff. I’d never stay here again

Wouldn’t stay at this hotel again. My daughter left her pin bag in the room on checkout and within a few hours of cleaning it had gone missing and never seen again. Multiple trips and calls back to the hotel to be told to fill in a form and that they couldn’t knock on the door of the existing guest to check the room as it would be considered rude. When the process for finding items was called bonkers I was advised I was being offensive. Staff do not go out of their way to make this a smooth process when clearly their own in house staff are stealing items then know they can keep personally or sell on for money. Disgusting in a family run hotel with children’s items. I was expecting to be greeted in Disney way full of life and overloaded with information instead we were greeted with a very disappointing worker who barely smiled at us and we just have asked every question to get any bit of information. Rooms are all dated and around the immediate pool area think there was approximately 8 umbrellas which are taken before the pool opens. Again not the most child friendly hotel. Overall staffs attitude is rude, unhelpful and I’d keep all of your belongings safe if staying here out of the staffs way as they certainly cannot be trusted and communication within the staff team is dreadful to try and resolve any issues which means I will never be staying there again on our trips
