NO TOUR. I was not on a tour. I live locally, I drove over, paid the fees and went up on the wheel. It was WAY overpriced for a few minutes in the wheel, however, it was, admittedly cool with some fun views. (Hence my pics.) Not sure I'd do it again, but glad I did it once!

It is a nice slow 22 minute ride. We did it at sunset and it seem to be at the same height that we were it. The sky turn gorgeous so picture taking was fantastic. It is all glass so the panoramic view is great.

I love it! I recently went on the icon again and really did love it. The views are super cool and you’re in your own little space bubble. I can’t wait to go back at night and time it just right for fireworks! We are local and could see our apartment and other cool land marks. We definitely recommend for all locals! We loved it so much we upgraded to the yearly pass after we got off.

"Wosrt experience at icon wheel due to weather"

Do not buy your tickets here with a combo deal of your trying to go to the sea life and madam Tussaud's. They don't tell you that if they close due to weather or possible thunder that you don't get the 2 attraction for $40 deal or the 3 attraction for $50 deal. If you can't get on the wheel at all they will make you spend money to pay full price tickets at the museum or sea life in order to get a refund at Icon wheel, which then they screw you over by charging you full price for the other two attractions. And essentially you end up paying full-proce instead of the discounted combo pricing. That's how they made us wait an hour and a half to see if the wheel would reopen then only to tell us it will not reopen and we would have to pay full price for Madame Tussaud in order to get a $10 refund not the half for $20 we were expecting since we only got to go to one of the two attractions they sold to us. Horrible management and bad customer service. Don't waste your money here. Just buy your tickets direct at madam tussauds or sea life.

The ride was uncrowded and we well the only ones in the car that was designed for 12 people. It was slow moving and one has to look closely to see that you are moving. This is definitely not a ride for thrill seekers but it is very stable and feels very safe.

This is probably one of the first times I've ever agreed with all of the 1-star reviews. What a total waste of time and energy. Views were lame. Nothing spectacular to look at. Not really high enough. I think we saw two lakes to the west, a parking lot of a thousand cars to the east and nothing much in-between. If I had paid $5.00 I would have given it two stars. At approximately $30.00 it is a MASSIVE RIP OFF. TOURIST TRAP.

I hate heights. I might hate the people that made me go on this thing now. It takes 23 minutes. The good news is if you get one of the little pods to yourselves nobody can hear you praying loudly and asking when it will be over. Everybody else had a lovely time. Parking was free and it's on the trolley line, plus there's lots of other stuff to do in the same complex (Ripley's, Madam Tussaud's, StarFlyer - just, just don't even get me started on this).

Such a nice ride. The building you enter through was huge, has a restaurant, a dark ride , the wax museum and sea life but doesn't seem crowded. We purchased combo tickets on line and walked right in with no waiting. There's even a small bar where u can grab a cold drink before you get on. Staff was friendly and very knowlegable. The view from the wheel is amazing and they have screens that show you what you're seeing. Would definitely recommend . The whole area around the wheel is full of shops and restaurants so it's a nice place to spend an afternoon.
