What an absolute treat this Hotel is! The whole hotel is decorated with a WWII theme, is super clean and first class. The rooms are spacious, and beautifully furnished. The Hotel is located right next to the WWII museum, but also within walking distance to the Superdome and many great restaurants. The cherry on the top of the cake was definitely the staff. From Kilroy's (the lobby bar) to Rosies (the rooftop bar), everyone provided incredible service, Major shout out to Avery and the staff that were there for New Years Eve - you made us feel so special! The Higgins Hotel is now our favorite and the only place we will stay when we are in New Orleans. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is a lovely hotel and it’s part of the WWII Museum complex in New Orleans. Service was excellent and the food, especially breakfast, was quite good. It’s also in a quieter area of the city and the hotel and museum parking garage is convenient. If your primary reason for visiting New Orleans is to visit the museum this is definitely the place to stay. Highly recommended.

The Higgins Hotel was themed after World War II. I stayed at this property for five nights for business. I was in town for a conference at the NOLA convention center. I enjoyed the front desk staff and the bartender who took care of us nightly. I appreciated that I received my 4:30 a.m. every morning. I enjoyed the music when I got off the elevator on my floor and also enjoyed that you highlighted military personnel and told their story. The hotel is across the street from the World War II Museum that everyone should visit. After a couple of days, the front desk staff referred to me by name which was a nice touch. The temperature in my hotel room was perfect and I enjoyed the large bathroom and shower. I noticed how clean everything was from the entrance, the shiny floors and other common areas. The beds and pillows were comfortable and I liked how the rooms were decorated. I enjoyed the commemorative plaque in the room honoring a soldier. That was a nice touch. The hotel location was centrally located to walk to some tasty restaurants. I had dinner a couple of nights at the bar in the hotel which was good. I walked about ten minutes to Sophias (Italian) and Pesch (seafood) restaurants which I would suggest for a dining experience. Overall, I enjoyed my experience at the Higgins, a Hilton Curio property. I am looking to visit New Orleans in February or March 2026, and would enjoy staying at this property again.

Except for minor issues our stay was perfect. The hotel is beautiful and seriously clean and well maintained. The staff is also friendly, courteous and always make us feel welcome. Parking is easy and the location great for visiting New Orleans. The minor issues, non draining bathroom sink and missed housekeeping of room today. Overall however, exceptional hotel.

Great stay in a great location. This is a new hotel and everything is clean and in pristine shape. Excellent air conditioning that works just as you set it (quiet, and no waking up in the middle of the night either too warm or too cold). Walk in shower has a rain head with sufficient water pressure. There's a grab bar in the shower which we appreciate and the shower floor isn't too slippery. The room's mini fridge is a full undercounter size with room for tall bottles. And it works...something that you can't take for granted with hotel room mini fridges. The room's coffee maker is generic (not a Keurig) but it comes with Community Coffee packets, a nice touch. The included packets are caffeinated but you can ask for decaf, too. We ate breakfast in the hotel's Cafe Normandie to use our Hilton Honors Gold credit. Somewhat oddly, the week day breakfast menu was more extensive (and better) than the weekend brunch menu. Food was good but expensive. Without the Hilton Honors credit, I think we would have breakfasted elsewhere. The location of this hotel is excellent. You're right on the edge of the Garden District and can catch the Charles Street trolley only a few blocks from the hotel. We chose a room on the sixth floor and heard not a peep from the street or any other hotel guests. Our room was right across the hall from the icemaker, but because that room had a heavy door on it, we didn't hear any noise from that, either. This hotel is associated with the WWII Museum just across the street. It is themed to the 1940's including the music you hear in the elevator lobbies and restaurants. Your room key gets you limited free access to the WWII Museum and a discount if you decide to purchase full admission. Self parking is at the WWII Museum garage right next to the hotel at an additional charge ($45 per night plus tax when we visited). We will happily stay here again.
